Too late now, but just curious if you ever consider switching the Our Class is a Family board to the massive wall so it could stay up and then move the work area to the space over the sink?

It looks amazing. Have you ever considered hanging a line across your windows? I have two lines running across mine, one I hang my kids' names from the other their work hangs directly beneath. I can hang all of my kiddo's work and not need to get out the giant ladder. Just a thought!

I love your classroom set up videos! I think it would make it look awesome if you cut out the middle of the letters on the family bulletin board. I use an exacto knife to do mine. Thanks for posting these videos!

If you trim 1” off the side to fit 4 across the board would be reachable and color would still show all the way around a standard sheet of paper. Although it did look super cute so changing it might be more work than you want. Thank you for sharing with all of us!

I know it would suck to do, but could you switch the Our Class is a Family board with the WOW Work board? And then you could just fill it down the wall!

Hi Kate! The 10ft wall is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I love how it looks like tile. You did a great job and you should be super proud of it.

Hi! Awesome job setting up your room. Your students are very fortunate to have such a caring and dedicated teacher. Please explain why you’re using “Read and Write” instead of “Reading and Writing”.

Are you worried at all about the kids splashing water on to the bulletin board by the sink? I thought about doing it for my sink area but I know what my sink area looked like this past year... 😬 I l love it though... super cute!

Can you use a paper cutter to trim an inch or so off each of the colored papers on your wow work wall so that you can fit 4 across and they won't be so high? (Although you probably don't want to space it all out again.)
@GoldenStateEducate3 жыл бұрын
I thought about that, but if I cut them the colors wouldn’t be visible if I put work on top. The 12x12 size is nice for 8x11 papers or larger art/crafts.

Are you using scrap book paper on the tall wall? Isn't that paper large? You could cut the sheets down to 10.5 x 13. This would give you an inch of color showing on all sides when you hang student work, and you might be able to fit 6 rows of 4.

Maybe try not to include enough for all of your students. My student work wall will have 12 clipboards. Half of the class will have their work displayed. Then the next time, the other half will have their work displayed. Keep it simple.
