That's a really big gorgeous classroom reminds me of when I was in the 5th grade years ago lol

Your room is so cute! I love the Target dollar spot, too. I'm a secondary teacher in Texas, and just happened upon this channel. Love that your classroom environment is not letter perfect-- reality! Very refreshing!

Thank you! I really try to keep these videos realistic. Teaching isn't always pretty, but it's the best profession ever! I try to be as transparent as possible and that means everything is perfectly imperfect!

Thanx so much for sharing your room. I love your teal chair Big Joe, we don’t have Walmart here in Australia, but I’m desperately looking for that type of beanbag, perfect,. Love the colour scheme and your layout. Those bookshelf’s have come up a treat. Thank you for the tour!

Hi Tina. What kind of doorbell is that and what did you use to have the button hang on your land yard. What a fantastic idea!!

I love the bathroom frame idea!! I just graduated high school and I am lucky enough to have gone to a school we’re the bathroom is in the classroom and we can use it whenever we had to, but when I was in middle and elementary school the teachers wouldn’t let us use the bathroom, I find it so weird how they would make us wait till class was over!!

I think we need to give kids more independence. Ever since I've given them more freedom, I rarely have issues with kids abusing restroom privileges!

Hi, Kristina! My name is Aaron and I’m from North Carolina...actually super close to South Carolina but on the border of it! And I’ve alway wanted to be a teacher since I was 3 and I still do since I’m now 17! I started watching you on Saturday with your classroom setup Vlogs! I am definitely going to go ahead and subscribe to you! I alway loved Investigation Math when I was in Elementary School! *The Closed Caption said “Tina” as your name instead of “Kristiana”.

Hi! New teacher here, just starting my first position next week! What type of doorbell carrying case are you using for your doorbell? I just bought that version and I need to hang it from my lanyard and can't seem to find anything on Amazon for it! Thanks in advance!
@tabithateaches36314 жыл бұрын
Jessica Maclean I know I use the hand sanitizer cases that they sell at bath and body works! The doorbell fits perfectly inside and then I attach it to my lanyard! Hope that helps!
@itskristinamoro4 жыл бұрын
Yes, what Tabitha said! It's a hand sanitizer case; however, this school year, I ditched that (it got heavy on my lanyard) and went to a small, waist apron. We're required to have our cell phones on us at all times, so I just put everything in that including the door bell remote.

What a fantastic tour for new, and seasoned teachers. I will use this with my college students who are preparing to become elementary teachers. I've just started my own KZbin channel two days ago and would love some honest feedback! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for your support! Many things changed as the needs of my students changed, but that's what teaching is about- adapting! Best of luck with your channel! I'll be sure to stop by and offer some feedback, but I'm sure it's wonderful!

Why did you choose to teach fifth grade? Is that your grade of choice
@itskristinamoro6 жыл бұрын
I had originally applied for the fourth-grade position, but accepted an offer in fifth and I'm so glad because I LOVE it. I love the content and the students' level of independence. Plus 10 and 11 year olds are absolutely hilarious! :) I always thought fourth was the grade for me, but I think my heart and soul truly belong in fifth.

Oh my gosh! Thank you so much. I'm very self-conscious about my teeth because I've had braces twice, but lost my retainer after the last time and they've shifted quite a bit! I've been seeing an orthodontist about Invisalign, so thank you for the confidence boost! :)
