Wow, your classroom is huge! So much bigger compared to the kindergarten classrooms in my area. That’s lucky, because you get more space for each section/category of things to do. Taylor Fugate That's why I chose to stay with teaching pre-k. I'm licensed up to 3rd grade, but I love the whole concept of learning through play. That's unfortunate if you aren't allotted that time! 😊

Have you thought about posting the calming strategies on the wall rather than on that ring? You are so blessed to be in a state where children in Kindergarten are given play time. That was such a great idea. My ADHD kiddo had a rug that was under his chair and that was his safe space...if he wanted to stand up it was okay as long as he was on his rug. Also other kids learned not to go on the rug

I'm a retired optician and as such I couldn't help but notice that you're wearing glasses for the first time, at least as far as I was able to find anyway, and i'm betting that you only recently got them because you were trying to push the up quite a few times during this video and that's normal when someone gets their first glasses. I usually can tell by looking the glasses if the person is nearsighted or farsighted but i really couldn't tell exactly what your glasses are for. So do you mind me asking you if you're either one of those or if you may be wearing glasses to correct astigmatisms? The glasses really suite you well and you just as cute wearing glasses as look without glasses. Maybe even cuter because everyone knows that teachers are supposed to be wearing glasses anyway. Now you look more like a teacher. So i'm sure it feels very strange to be wearing glasses now but the more you wear them the faster you're going to get used to wearing them. Maybe a better question should be is how are your eyes doing with adjusting to the prescription of your glasses? Have you noticed that by the end of the day after wearing glasses all day things are really blurry now when you take your glasses off aren't they? After a few weeks you will hardly notice that even wearing glasses anymore.
