You might have something similar in your own wardrobe, or maybe it just inspires you to style some of your pieces in a different way. Lots of inspiration that I hope you find helpful. I love the mid-dress and long cardigan outfit. One of my all-time favourites! I agree with you about the cut-out trend. I prefer to do something more subtle and focused around the upper shoulder area. The River Island one that you showed is gorgeous... too bad we don't have it in Canada. Thanks for the great video!

It has been especially cold where I live. I have some flannel lined leggings that I put on underneath my jeans. I put my snow boots on and my long down coat. I had to walk out to my brothers truck because the snow was so deep. I could hardly pick up my legs and walk. Not to mention lifting my legs up to get into the high four wheel drive truck. I didn't know whether it was my arthritic knees that could not rise up or all the layers I had on.

I love this season’s straighter maxi skirts and dresses. I live in a three-story house and fuller, flouncy maxi’s are a pain to gather up so I don’t trip. My favorite summer dress is a narrow, navy viscose knit, sleeveless maxi, with a back center slit. It’s super-cool and breathable, but can be layered up for winter, too. I hope I can find more like it this season.

Silk long johns are the perfect thing under trousers, or skirts with boots, for extra warmth. I feel more stylish in the cool months because I can use more layers and structure. The summers are so hot where I live that keeping cool, but looking chic, is difficult.

Well I guess we could use unpopular terms as such but then our videos would never get seen! It’s a balancing act really and one I aim to keep trying to get right:) x

Jess - very inspiring! This is the most useful video you have done, I can easily integrate all these looks into my daily life. I live in Glasgow so will have to add thick socks and chunky boots for the wind and rain. But most of the looks would work with this amendment, It’s been great. Would love winter wardrobe part 2, that covers rainwear, if you feel inclined!

Hey Jess, nice to see your combos this week. My favorite that I will definitely recreate is the grey scarf and camel with black ... another look I liked is the taupe with black scarf and black.
