The plague and the zurks are two different things. The plague died when humans died. The zurks evolved from trash eating bacteria since the humans died.

So nice to see this game getting some love! But no way I'm gonna watch it before I'm finished my first play though. Think I need at least one more if I want to get all trophies since I "wasted" too much time wandering around just for the fun of it.

I couldn't place the location of Walled City 99. Did anyone see where it was located on the map? It also raises the question of what happened to Walled Cities 1-98.

Pretty sure everyone but B/12 survives, although those screens do flicker at the end before the credits roll, so I have hope that B/12 is back in the city network

The world back then when human goes to the bunker was inhabitable. The plague happened when human already live inside the wall. The reason why they didn't open the roof is because they thought the world still inhabitable (Ie. nuclear radiation or war). The nuclear theory might be a bit bonkers since the cats and the fauna didn't extincted or mutated, but my theory is the plague (not the zurg that's different topic) is some kind of bioweapon and at that times the world is at war and somehow get inside the bunker. The rest surviving people might be upload their consciousness just like B12 and transfer it to the robots, that's why they display an emotion, intelligent, behavior, and creativity of human rather than a robots (AI).

I have a polydactyl Scottishfold cat at home of the very same color that seems to be a mix monkey and cat or an alien in disguise, I thought he might had some pirate genes too as how he use ropes and escape soft and hard cat carrier. This kitty reminded me of him but true; maybe all of his friends survived somehow, but he was cut of them all in the end. Also it would had been kick-ass our stray getting to help once a while B12 in new roaming feline/bot adventures. BTW, the scotty here loved your stream. ^^ I think the wise elderly calico too.

As someone who worked with transportation in movies i can tell you that it is going to be FAR less expensive to age an existing car than to fabricate a brand new vehicle even if if is just a shell. So that could be something done for budgetary reasons.

That's true but at the same time ... it's by Amazon, the last company to need a budget for this. I think they would make plenty more money being 100% true to it, even if it costs a little more, instead of slacking like this. To each their own I guess.

@@PeaceK3Y this is a fair point. However we don't know what the budget for the show is . Chances are it isn't getting the billion $$$ that their Lord of the Rings series is. We can only hope it is good.

I love this game so much; completed it on the day of release ;-; Just a quick note, Ox; the bacteria and the human plague were two different things. The bacteria was created by neko corp to destroy the large amounts of trash in the walled city, but evolved into the critters in the years after humanity's downfall. hence why sunlight was its weakness; it evolved within a world without sun. The plague was the reason that the city was locked down, and it wiped out the humans. I really do wish that the ending wasn't left so open to interpretations though; it would have been much better to see kitty reunited with their pack, and to see the outsiders finally see the outside world. (and B-12 to return, of course.)

Great to see you playing one of my fave games this year, Ox! Keep up the great work. Edit: The Super Duper Mart set is in Staten Island, NY. They do not have the area blocked so you can walk right up to it and take pics. There's a fence, but it's a low one. The supermarket used to be a Shop Rite but closed a while back. You'll definitely see "modern" vehicles as that is where the crew parks.

Ox missed the part where they said the world was uninhabitable due to maybe war and fallout. The whole reason for the walled cities.

What a disappointing ending to this great game. B12 dies and cat wasn't reunited woth his family. Loved the game, but man that could have ended better.
