Claude is from Congo and came to The Netherlands as a refugee with his family when he was young. So he speaks French and now also Dutch. His songs are mostly in Dutch/French so it's likely his song for Eurovision will also be in Dutch/French. The song will probably come out in March as this was the case in previous years.

De mix van Engels en een andere taal is nogal een Eurovisie-cliché. Zo van “laten we ook maar een deel in het Engels doen, zodat de internationale gemeenschap het verstaat”. Daarnaast: De taal waarin je je passie kunt leggen is altijd het beste.

The original version of this song is in Dutch/French, like the majority of his songs. Eurovision songs can be very normal, without craziness, check former winners Duncan Laurence/Arcade or Loreen/ Tattoo

They picked a good artist for sure. I don't think the ebu will take politics out of the competition. So he will probably not win. Joost by the way, has changed my life. I made so many new friends because of him. I'm going to NY next year to go see him there, we will go to festivals to see him, with a lot of friends. Echt Niet de Nederlandse taal is niks. Waar andere Landen hun best doen om internationaal te gaan. Willen Nederlandse artiesten alleen optreden met de hele nationale kliek een soort orgie lijkt het wel. iedereen vind elkaar zo geweldig het geslijm druipt eraf. Claude kan een hele grote wereld artiest worden dus skippen dat domme Nederlands.

why was the song translated to englich? not so nice..its sepose to be duch and frenche.. the translation is wrong as wel ..on the and he sings this is my mast confesion.. it has to be this is my last round.. cuz what he sings in frenche is the same as what he sings in duch.. so the wrong translation from duch to english.. who ever made him sing that.. confused..🤔😵‍💫
