Very interesting video, what about document privacy? For example if you upload documents on the knowledge base, will they be used for training of the model?

Even if they don’t use it for training the models (which may or may not be true), they still process your information through servers based in US. I would never send personal info to either of them.

There is no concept of privacy anymore. Whatever you post online or tell a bot is used for training.

If you're coding a snake game AI is great. Anything more advanced and trying to use AI will drive you insane. I am using Claude 3.5 Sonnet for a complex project. Using JUCE /C++. Projects is ok for reference but the custom instructions is completely useless. It does not follow your instructions at all. Also, once you hit your message length limit you have to start a new chat and claude does not allow you to reference previous chats so you have to completely start over every time. A workaround is to have Claude write a prompt for the next chat but it's still a new chat and it forgets. It also constantly producers errors and has a hard time fixing them. Yes, it's faster than learning to code, but it is not going to replace programmers any time soon.

Use Cursor or VS code with AI extensions like, Continue, Claude Dev, Twinny. Or use Aider AI. There's a free try for Cursor AI integrated AI or use AI extensions with API key. You cannot really build great programs, apps, softwares ect... without these tools today.

very true. current AI models still lack 100% logic. It seems 95% logic as human, but the missing 5% percent will make you frustrated especially in complex case.

Claude Sonnet 3.5 seems to skip over some of the instructions provided to it, especially when the knowledge base is too big. I think there's a limit, but I have no idea what the limit is. It's driving me crazy but I know it's got potential so I'm being patient until I see some satisfactory results..

I am surprised there is no popular alternative specifically for customGPTs or Claude Projects that let you use your own API keys in a more fine-grained way. customGPTs seem to forget their instructions after a long enough chat and I can't get them to always pull knowledge from the knowledgebase before a response .... I get the sense that continuous calls to the knowledge base tasks OpenAI and they prefer reducing calls to the knowledgebase or they are balancing response time or something else. Anyone know something better?

I encourage you to timestamps your videos. This is a very beginner video, which is fine in itself, but I was expecting a more in-depth comparison on when to use which depending on specific use-cases. In the end I had to spend too much time skipping very beginners information to come to a very unhelpful conclusion. This was a complete waste of time for me but I realise I’m not in your target audience, which is fine. But timestamps would have really helped to speed up the process of discovering that…
