Early impression of Claudio in TEKKEN 8 is that he may just be the best character in the game & it may not even be close.. Along with the ridiculous damage he has with all of his moves (especially in HEAT), Claudio has what seems to be a bug where after landing d/f+1 the 1,2 jabs are guaranteed afterwards. I think it'll be removed in the final version of the game but I definitely put it to use and enjoyed it while it lasts.
Despite being very strong, Claudio was very fun and enjoyable when playing with him during the TEKKEN 8 Closed Network Test. Looking forward to playing with him more and showing you guys what he's capable of. Enjoy the games!

So to recap Df1 +10 on hit Ff4 ch +12-13 on hit F3 ch +14 on hit Heat gives infinite starburst New running 1+2 with starburst that do a million damage

Df1 is a 15f launcher the +10 only matters when you dont want to commit They also nerfed b2 so it doesnt give starburst and screws instead of being a nutty combo extender And im late af so youve probably already seen it but Brian's rocket punch in heat blows claudio's out of the water

huge chips on blocked mid attacks tho, so much plus on those same mid offensive attacks that lows can just be disregarded. Also, claudio's heat smash does huge damage, wall breaks and is a low although I'm still sad that d2,2 isn't a launcher anymore even on starburst

@@liftyy3667 which mid was this? He lost ff 1+2. Maybe db 1+2? I guess I don't know the frames on that new move either. Were there other unpunishable mids with high damage? Pretty sure at long range you just step the bow. At close range you duck and jab after blocking the 4. Before the mid comes out you interrupt and if he's doing 4,3 instead of 4,2 it's a high high anyway so you avoid it. At high level I always get ducked after pressing 4. Basically like Nina df 3 in Tekken 7. Im glad in 8 she has a mid extension. Still, I think Claudio IS strong but I think people let him get away with too much

@@Goteiii Don't even compare Claudio with Law or Kazuya. Kazuya's new string is the cheapest thing in the entire CNT. And Law is actually brain dead, the easiest character in the history of Tekken after they dumbed him down so much. Claudio requires good movement and punishment.

@@RAWKITHED Kazuya is stepped super easy this game. The string is stupid but it's not like Claudio doesn't do a million damage with his juggles or lacks cheap strings. He even has a hellsweep from heat now. Law is brain dead because? I get they made his dss easier but 3+4,4 no longer launches, lost his magic 4, 1,2,3 doesn't knock down anymore and got his parry nerfed. They nerfed all his defensive/ch moves in a game that favors offence. They gave 1+2 for oki and more damage after the slide which lets you continue the pressure and they buffed poison arrow and made ws 1,2 more easily confirmable. But they gave bs like that to everyone.
