CLAVICLE - SIDE DETERMINATION

its a modified long bone.

Answer is very simple ..... hold the bone at a point where medial and lateral part of a clavicle meet then if medial 2/3 is on right side of your holding point then it’s right clavicle and if medial 2/3 is on left side of your holding point then it’s left clavicle......but make sure superior view should be fronting up ...( smooth surface of bone should be in front of your eyes) …

Simple rule: Hold the bond n your hand and make sure the bigger part of the shaft in convex side is on anterior side. There you go. You know which side of bone it is.
