I love brewing inventions, and I was thinking of buying a couple of these, but the wait was so long, I went to a stubby 6-gallon Torpedo keg instead. I dry hop using magnets and a hop bag stuck to the underside of the keg lid. Fermenting under pressure is no problem with a Kegland Blowtie. Hope you sell a million of these anyway.

Honestly, I cannot wait to be in a financial and housing situation where I can buy your 10 gallon set and your keg. Stovetop and bottling by hand is getting old. Plus I love you guys and want to support.

Does keg lube affect head retention because it’s a hydrocarbon?

Why start with a quick wash with PBW? In a new container, what does it remove; and doesn't PBW take time to clean? I think I would start with diluted muriatic acid. Just strong enough to cause visible shining/cleaning. Visible if any of the metal has factory staining. This is an important step for new stainless steel yes? Then rinse and sanitize?

PBW is just unscented oxy clean, is common and works well. Muriatic acid is corrosive, reactive, and generally not something we would advise for home brewers.

@@ClawhammerSupply I have PBW. Have used it for many things now. Many brewers recommend using an acid on new stainless steel to prep it so it doesn't corrode as easily or affect flavor. There is a name, I am forgetting, for this step, considered necessary or standard practice. I think other brewers use a milder acid that takes many hours for this process. I suggest muriatic because it is much faster. If worried one can easily dilute it. PBW can not do this step. Like anything, it is dangerous only based on your intelligence and skill. Some people should not use stairs, drive cars, drink hot beverages, use power tools... ;-)

Would be a real CRAZY idea if you showed it in action on a livestream brewday- somewhere between meme’ing and tacos - then offered a coupon code only available for a certain time 🤔 ever watch QVC? Do that…

How do you dry hop with this keg fermenter? Do the hops go in "raw"? Typically I dry hop without a bag or spider, and 90% of it settles down with the yeast cake but the other 10% stays floating on the surface of the beer - does the floating dip tube clear most of this up on first pour?

You add a butterfly valve to the smaller tri clamp... Search for hopbong to get an idea of operation.
