Honestly, so do we! We’re going to bring them back at some point but need to do some “housekeeping” and cover some basic stuff before we’re able to do that. Also, we’re probably going to need people to join as members to support it.

@@ClawhammerSupply I know for my own journey finding your channel and videos 6 years ago got me back into home brewing. From there I have spent around $1800 at clawhammer supply on a 10gal brew system and accessories. I’m on a wait list for 2 of the new keg fermenters and accessories, that’s another $800. Your recent videos on “essential oils” LOL has my wifey buying me a still system and accessories, another $1800. The shenanigamos videos earned you one loyal repeat customer. I have to assume hundreds more as well who simply don’t comment. Seems like a pretty solid business model 🤷‍♂️. Keep up the great work, we love it 🍺

I just realized I've met you at Asheville brewers supply. This is some valid serious advice. I just this past week brewing had a quick connect I thought was solid come loose. I had 210° wort hit my leg and had 2nd degree burns hit it. Really bad timing. I've done this (brewing) so many times and got a bit distracted. Learned my lesson. Never assume the connection is solid. I'm going to lube all my quick disconnects now.

Very good info, thank you 🍻. Is juice worth the squeeze in relation to the whirlpool arm for a 10 gallon kettle? Clamping the end of the silicone hose from pump/chiller against the inside wall of the kettle creates a pretty good lil whirlpool on it own. 🤷‍♂️

Nice one. Where is the clip of boiling wort shooting out of a forgotten open clamp and hitting the ceiling? lol Is that just me?

One of the fittings I bought has to be muscled on to make a connection, I don't know if this is a machine defect or if there's something binding. The bearings are moving and not stuck in any way. Thoughts?

Even though the bearings might seem like theyr'e fine, we definitely recommend putting some food safe oil on it. Both on the bearings and the housing. Almost positive that'll fix the issue.

Hey Kyle, quick question. If I get your system and brew in the apartment where I don’t have a hose . What are the fittings/parts do I need? Thank you!
@ClawhammerSupply
@ClawhammerSupply 4 ай бұрын
you need to install a hose bib under your sink. that's the easiest way to do it. much more simple than you'd imagine.

I have a question, usually when I am doing the chiling, the sediment gets stuck and the flow starts to slow down, what do you recommend to do in that situation? Do a second filtering before boiling? (The kettle has a tube with a filter on the exit, but it gets covered with hops residue and what I assume is protein). Thanks!
@ClawhammerSupply
@ClawhammerSupply Жыл бұрын
That is a great question. If you scrape the filter with your mash paddle does it clear up? Are you using the hop basket or tossing the hops into the kettle?
@deyoloco3110
@deyoloco3110 Жыл бұрын
@@ClawhammerSupply yep, usually I try to use the paddle to clear the residue from the filter. I am currently tossing the hops. I could try the basket for the hops, thanks!!
