Pete, great podcast. Lucas great logic. I feel we need to trade Mikal this offseason for draft capital.

Thank you, appreciate the kind words! Logically thinking I think that may be a sound idea, but who knows what Marks is thinking.

Another fun podcast Pete 👍 😎. Claxton's situation is definitely interesting because you would think he would have been signed immediately after the finals... Instead now there are rumblings the Detroit Pistons could make a big run at Claxton and offer him a $25 million salary 😮.... Do you think it's a definite Claxton is resigning or do you think it depends on Brooklyn's direction that they finally choose????

Thanks bro, appreciate it! Everyone seems to think/say that they wouldn't be surprised if the Nets re-signed him quick, but Ive heard for a few months he's prob gone if they don't overpay.... But Scotto said that he'd prob re-sign, his word is usually better than great. My personal thoughts are watch out for OKC or MEM. The C market is small and we haven't seen non-star C's get paid like that recently but Clax is such a polarizing player.

Forgot to mention this.... Langdon may have had a hand on drafting Clax so he may really like him, Im not sure. I just know by next week we'll have an idea of what kind of season is coming for us in '25.

@@NetsFansYouKnow No prob bro! Definitely have to watch out for OKC who are already making aggressive moves 😳. Also just heard the Knicks are likely going to keep Heartenstein and are making Mitchell Robinson available in trade conversations so OKC could pivot to Claxton and Detroit could be making him an offer as well.... It would be good to see a source come out saying Claxton and Brooklyn are working on a deal but the longer we don't hear anything the more worrisome it gets and the worst case scenario is letting Claxton walk for nothing 😨....

@@NetsFansYouKnow I definitely agree next week we will get some confirmation on the type of direction Brooklyn will be leading towards at least for the 2024 season. But getting draft capital back for Dorian Finney Smith would be a good first step to kick off this off-season for Brooklyn....

@@NetsFansYouKnow Sheesh Pete!! 😳 😲. Talk about two blockbuster trades in one night! Brooklyn finally chose a direction and decided to trade Mikal Bridges to the Knicks to reunite with his Villanova Boys and take back 6 first round draft picks and Bogey 😮.... Personally I felt like teams such as Houston OKC Memphis and Utah had more compelling draft picks and prospect players to trade and instead Sean let another player drive his own ship 🚢 for him 😮.... Thank goodness he quickly traded the Suns picks to Houston to get back the ever important 2025 first round draft pick which is a lottery top 10 potentially top 5 first round draft pick 🔥.... But Sean Marks cannot be the GM of this ship anymore and we need new management.... What do you think Brooklyn can do though tomorrow night during the draft to complete this rebuild???

The nets are the worse run franchise, sell the team fire Sean Marks. There’s no reason for a place like Brooklyn should have a incompetent organization. Claxton should leave and go to my Thunder.

I don't think thats a crazy idea (ie Clax to OKC). Your guys starting lineup would be insane. Like Lucas said in the podcast Clax is more of a guy who gets your over the top more than an main impact player. Clax, Chet, Jalen Williams, SGA, Caruso.... that's a NASTY 5 right there. Not to mention lots of fun. I think Clax could strive in a lineup like that.
