I like their chemistry so much 💜, but I don't see it as a romantic one. There's no sexual tension no need for physical closeness no jelaousy and no passion; meaning they don't provoke strong emotions from each other personalities or direct actions (only in the adopting part) They act like brothers, annoyed by each other, teasing each other, having each other's backs. I didn't know I needed this, but it's so good. They both clearly needed a brother, but I never saw it coming that this would be so perfect. Seriously, the brother-in-arms relationship is so sweet! My favorite will always be the scene when Justin is on the bed reading a comic book, which he refers to as addictive, and then Clay is like, "Why are you being so weird?" Justin shrugs and says, "I guess I'm...happy." It's very sweet, and just shows in a simple way that the normalcy and trust is having a really positive effect on him.
