Runner up on Idol but #1 in my eyes. Fell in love with Clay the second I heard him sing. He had my vote every week. I saw him on tour a few times right after Idol when he toured with Kelly Clarkson . Then saw him on his first solo tour a few times. I’m in PA ,near Philly, but I went to Maryland because that post concert withdrawal was strong lol. Then after my Philly show I ordered tickets for Wilkes Barre ,PA show, it was magical and something he wrote about in his book. It was when the audience sung Measure of A Man . To hear entire arena sing it was like we were all in church . Literal chills and even watching the video back years later, it comes back to me like a tidal wave……. Rambling aside, I love this man and this was such a fun interview. Proud Claymate then and now at 48 years old.

His spirit is absolutely infectious. Someone in an earlier comment said they were grinning, watching the entire interview. That was me too!!! There is a special kind of magic about Clay Aiken. I still adore him & would love love love to see a comeback from him. I love you Clay!!!! Eeeek!!!! ❤😊😍😘🤪
