Hi Megha! I recently found you channel and made clay following your recipe. It was fun making it and it turned out really nice. I have a problem though using it with my veining molds. The clay is sticking horribly. It doesn't stick to my hands. Only the molds. Do you have any tips for this. The clay sat for 2 days and I added no color. Should I add more cornstarch, or glue? I will make another batch if it's better but if this is the case, where do you think the clay went wrong? I'm trying to make flowers for mothers day ☹...

Looks like your clay is little undercooked...u can cook it again in microwave only for few seconds, check the consistency and repeat cooking....you can also try to dust your molds with dry cornstarch so that the clay doesnt sticks to them.

The clay gets rock hard after drying, it doesn't break easily. Paper thin flower petals can break if you try to break them purposely or if they fall from height

Make sure the clay is completely dry before painting...you can also apply varnish to fix the paint
