YOU, buster, are a complete jackass. The primary reason for the poor performance was simply the lack of any morale - 100% the fault of Meruelo. No one is going to be putting their best effort in when it's clear it won't actually result in support from the bosses. The players could see that he didn't give a damn about them, the staff were treated abominably, and he managed to burn all bridges in the Valley with the way he dealt with Glendale. But even then , you look like an ignorant ass, disregarding the changes in personnel as well. Clearly by the time "a couple years" rolls around there will have been team roster changes. You cant (intelligently) apply the same denigrating brush to all of the newer players.
