Just sat and read through all of the comments here and it's made my day. Thanks team

Understand if you couldn’t be bothered doing this but i think you should do a proper brentford. Take a team in league one and moneyball from there. You’ll have the challenge of recreating brentfords success and less of the saudi clubs buying your players

Definitely agree 👍

@@Clayts Or you could try Brighton though that would be hard to emulate as we were playing at the Withdean stadium when Tony Bloom took over. Capacity around 6,000.
@morepork2816 күн бұрын
Also, and this is not a criticism of you its the game. Don't let your best players go mid-season like you did with Gravenberch. Whilst its totally realistic to let them go in the off season no way Brentford or any club for that matter release their best player in January. The balance of the games transfer system isn't quite right, clubs are too aggressive in the Jan window and players expect to leave when we just don't see that IRL. Watched the first two vids in full, great content.

@morepork281 yeah I don’t disagree at all.

Hey Clayts, Great vid! i think an awesome way to finish off the save would be to win the champions league and then reveal the attributes of the champions league winning squad, could be really interesting!
@johanbrentola84596 күн бұрын
I think this is a great series so definitely keep it going. I do think you're being a bit hard on yourself too. Moneyball is absolutely the process but the main aim is to win. You can buy more expensive players as long as they fit the logic (under value/can be developed/flipped for a profit).
@lyonkennedy48925 күн бұрын
🏆 And here I was worrying about attributes. Makes me wanna do one with Brighton

Started this series as it popped up on my feed and caught my attention as it’s the team i support - enjoying the series as you don’t show a million games but go in depth with the transfers. Also enjoy how in other FM streamers rebuilds they can’t clear the current team fast enough and just bring in their tried and tested players - you’ve held onto mainstays until it was their time to go. Glad Rico (Lewis) Henry is still there! Also, quite a few similarities between problems you’ve had and Brentford have had in real life (before you went and won the Europa League of course!)

Watching Tobias score that was like watching my own imaginary son score. From the Paris FC DOF and many other saves to scoring a decisive goal in this save, what a man!

I’m glad to see that this time you’ve scouted quite a bit in Italy! Monterisi looks very promising, and I hope he can do well in England. Castrovilli is a fairly well-known player in Italy; he was a great prospect a few years ago, but ongoing injury problems have never allowed him to fully showcase his talent. It’s been an excellent season though 🏆🏆, I’m really curious to see how the young reGen players will develop 👊🏻

🏆Tobias turned into prime Carlos Alberto in that final! Love the series Clayts, can't wait for the next episode.

Absolutely loved this video, and the series. I think a big part of moneyball in football is also succession planning, which you do in this video with the young striker for Gyokeres. Would love to see you looking that way for the (now stalwart) likes of Henry, Frendrup, Hedl etc. in the next vid. Keep up the good work!!

I absolutely love this series brother, keep it going. It’s a great watch when I wind down from a long day at work. I also think you should be hold off on too many outgoing transfers in January perhaps, maybe just to keep it a bit more realistic? Either way the choice is yours and we love your content regardless. Keep them coming mate!
@Clayts5 күн бұрын
Thanks man. On Jan transfers, I’d love to and I’ve thought about it, but it’s sort of hard because of the way the game is. Weighing up what is realistic in terms of denying the players moves and selling at realistic times is hard when you get such big bids so often in Jan (that wouldn’t happen IRL). But noted nonetheless!

Honestly the spending more money doesn't really matter since the last stage of moneyball is all the rich teams using moneyball tactics as well as spending tons of money

I’m new to the game as a disclaimer. But when he does these jumps in time has he actually been watching the gameplay and changing tactics mid game of all those games? Whenever I watch these videos I’m amazed that these guys can get through so many fixtures when 1 game seems to take me like 30 odd minutes to watch highlights and do press conferences etc. any advice on speeding up the process always appreciated!
