I have the workhorse 1975 wagon .. the door is to heavy and hard to open every time. Any thing can help to solve the problem.? Any ideas about counter weight incldes the deminsions ? Please help

Hey I’ve been interested in finding a offset smoker for awhile now but considering the prices of most smokers you can actually find or that I’m interested in it seems impossible I don’t have the tools to build my own or I’d give it a shot. I cook for a small family anywhere from 3-10 people when I’m not out to sea on a submarine. But what’s the best smoker in your opinion that I should get

I wouldn't be afraid to use some citrus degreaser on my pits. works great in cleaning grease and gunk and isn't toxic like most cleaners.

Should mill scale be removed before the seasoning process inside or outside?

Thanks for replying back, 1 last ? is mill scale safe inside the cook chamber or if on the expanded steel cooking grate after doing the first seasoning?

@robertpalmer3166 the brand was crisco thought they were the same just following what David Klose told me to do with the pit I bought from him
