Good video Chelsea! Thanks for putting my CLEAN By Pan 8-year ceramic coating to the test. Seems like you had a good user experience with it. Well said about taking the time to learn how to use a coating when it’s your first time. It was funny when you were talking about the “diaper sound” when talking about the applicator. It’s the saver liner inside to prevent the coating from absorbing into the applicator. The coating stays on the surface so there’s less waste. :) Continue sharing your passion for detailing with the community, and I wish you continued success with your channel. 👍🏻

Thanks Pan! In your opinion did I apply what you recommend to the applicator? Or should I have gone heavier? Just wasn’t sure if the look was what you expect when applying

Great video, Chelsea! Can't wait to get my hands on Pan's coatings. I have 3 main coatings in my business, but Clean. 8 year I think will be my 4th with the 1 hour cure before going outside. I like efficiencies in my business!! He knows snow , so I trust the formula was designed well to work in NY climates with no major issues. BTW, I nearly had a heart attack when you went to go smell the formula . I can't believe it has that low of an odor!!

Me either! It was so low I almost couldn’t smell it!

I did a customers white Wrangler about 3 weeks ago using Pan’s 8 year. I really couldn’t see the flashing, so I just followed the 2 minute instructions. That was perfect, leveling was normal, not grabbing and very slick. Seems like a great coating. Easily will get several vehicles out of it.

So far, I’m liking the reviews on this product. I bought it to replace my 4 year old coating on my garaged 2012 Infinity. Application will be done as soon as the weather in my area is more favorable.

Hey Chelsea!! I am a newer weekend detailer “enthusiast.” 2 months ago I used Pans 8 year, polish and prep spray to do my first polish/coating ever. It was all relatively easy to use, and I’m sure I’ll do better next time. That said, When I started temps were ideal. Towards the end it was dark outside, mid 50s and humid. I literally let the coating sit on the panels for 8-10 minutes and then leveled. It still felt tacky but I didn’t want to let it go any longer and made sure I leveled/wiped really well. The slickness/water behavior awesome and seems to have worked great! Next time I will wait until I have better conditions and a pad washer, but it was then or next spring and I wasn’t patient enough 🤣

Great video Chelsea. I wonder why you didn’t use an auto fiber applicator? Plus a two towel?
@attention2detailswchelsea4 сағат бұрын
I used the applicator provided with the coating and typically use a three towel for removal - two to level and a Korean plush for the final touch to avoid high spots

We have had an arctic blast the last few weeks with periods of snow and heavy salt so the customer hasn’t brought it in yet for its first wash, but as soon as the weather permits will be doing an update video on this coating so hopefully everyone can stay tuned for that update. I know I’m really excited to see it.

@ From what I’m seeing is most coatings start out good. It’s how they can handle abrasion and minerals is what sets them apart from one another

I applied it to my brand new 2025 Santa Fe and Inused a bit less than half of the bottle. It's pearl white and it's kinda hard to see the fleshing. It's been almost 3 months and even with harsh Canada winter, coating is going strong. Let's see how durable it will be. Thanks for the video.

@@edwarddunk2731 I soak it in a bucket with apc immediately after (or anything with a solvent) and then wash with microfiber detergent like detail cos microfiber wash or rags to riches

Great video Chelsea - the jetting effect of the paint is so good and it’s real easy To apply. What was your turn around from decon - applying the coating
@attention2detailswchelsea10 сағат бұрын
Did all the prep, polish and coating in about 7 hours. The polish step took longer cause the paint hated me and took a while to dial in what would actually work

I skipped through this video because it's been done before, I personally won't be spending my money on anything from Pan because of what he has said about people that have questioned his product claims/thoughts.He as a business man should not label these people trolls and other such names. I will give Detail Co ago if the price is worth it once they arrive in Australia 🇦🇺

Everyone and their freaking Mom is coming out with detailing products these days. It's just saturating the market. Anyone that believes a coating will last 8 yrs also probably believes unicorns exist🙄
@TheMobileDetailShop12966 сағат бұрын
They tell you eight year coating . But wait until you file a labor claim on it when it fails .it won’t happen.
@attention2detailswchelsea5 сағат бұрын
Most don’t last due to improper maintenance and those claims are created in a lab environment as a gauge not a definitive expectation . I cut most coating claims in half with expectations because of those unknown variables of how the customers will maintain the vehicle and environment
@TheMobileDetailShop1296Сағат бұрын
Exactly so why do they make the claim in the first place .answer to sell the fake illusion.

That vehicle looks really good. I have some questions: Did you use the coating on the glass and wheels? Did you consider using the DIY Detail APP instead of panel prep?
@attention2detailswchelsea4 сағат бұрын
@NeilJohn-the-washer customer didn’t want the wheels or glass coated so no . And I didn’t use app polish because I had already spent more time polishing the paint than I wanted to so just used a panel prep spray
