Kudos to you for being honest and working towards your own goals of paying off debt and saving for a home. Home sharing with parents is so common in many cultures and when it works it is so good for the family and the kids. One thing I highly recommend that has worked for us is the concept of living your rich life from the “I will teach you to be rich” book. A way to work towards your goals while also enjoying the present. Wishing you the best towards your goals and for you to live your rich life in 2025.

Congratulations on working through your debt. That’s a major accomplishment and you have all the right to be proud! I also understand exactly where you’re coming from with the home sharing. While my Husband and I didn’t home share with our parents, we did live in a ramshackle 1987 singlewide trailer that we paid $6500 for, for 10+ years while we did the same exact thing you’re doing now. Like you, we had some nasty comments doing it that way but we were able to pay off so much since we didn’t have the overhead of a mortgage. My Husband and I are getting ready to close on our dream home after it being under construction for the better part of a year. None of that would have been possible if we hadn’t done what you’re doing right now. Keep on trucking! You guys have a plan and sometime soon you’ll be able to see your plan pay out on its own time.

We just spent 16 days traveling with 13 days at Disney and I’m looking to do a huge reset when we get home - purge, clean, decor, etc. We also currently live with my parents and it WORKS! Thank you for normalizing this!

So many things I would love to tell you and I am only 15 minutes into the video! First of all, I watch your videos because you seem like a lovely person who just is filled with light! So you could make any type of video you want and I would watch it! Also, please give your parents a hug for me...they are amazing! We tried the whole house sharing thing and it was a disaster. I don't know if it was different because we owed the house, but it always felt like we were visitors or always had guests. I love my family, but we could not handle living together (too many strong opinions). Stay true to yourself! ☺

🏡 I would watch literally anything you put on either channel. I LOVE all your videos. My husband and I lived with his parents for around 5ish years. Maybe 6. I honestly can’t remember. That’s where we started our own family. I am so thankful that they let us live there to pay off debt and save up for our own house. Next month will be 2 years in our own home thanks to them. Do whatever works for your family and try to ignore any negative comments. Also….I know you are friends with Bekah Hart..I think it would be really cool for y’all to get together and do a big Disney chat/ q&a! I would love to hear y’all bounce ideas and opinions off of each other about things! ❤

My husband and I lived with his parents for a while. We were able to help my disabled MIL and this is something that used to be more common. We should normalize doing what is best for everyone involved.

Seriously yes unless you are making videos for KZbin you have no idea. I now have 4 kids and I literally say everyday “hey kids we are doing videos today, we are getting back into it this week” this has been for like 2 years. And as every mom knows it flys. Even to get to make videos let alone edit , momma I hear ya. You are a rock star that you post as much as you do. Even one video a week is so much effort. Please once my 14 month old lets me sleep I will finally get back to KZbin, I want to make it just like you have. I also love to watch and dream too. 💕
