Clean Culture is back at it again with their crazy shows. This time around it was just outside of LA in Rancho Cucamonga California. This was one of the first shows I brought my RED to to capture some reel footage. See if you can tell which shots were from it ;). I need to get out to the west coast for a show like this. I love the Maryland car scene. But after a while its just the same cars and clubs over and over again. Its why I was so bummed I missed the NJ show, cause there would be so many new things to see.

Hey Chris, great work as always. I wanted to know how often you stabilize or motion track in after effects for your gimbal shots. Ive been shooting a lot with a Ronin recently and sometimes feel the need to track or stabilize even after the fact. Either I just need a lot more practice or this is just part of it. Id really appreciate any feedback. Also are you liking the new camera and workflow setup?

Do you use warp in premiere or go for motion tracked in AE? Ive shot a few car events recently and felt like some of my Ronin shots needed some more work, which is frustrating because the whole point in buying the Ronin was for the perfectly smooth shots. I know im just super picky when it comes to how smooth it is and most wouldnt notice. I just always am curious how others get along with the gear and what their workflow is like.

Yeah I find that it distorts the image too much most of the time. Sometimes you get lucky and it looks amazing.
