Just put my Christmas stuff up yesterday. When I saw that you could put your decorations in 3 boxes I went wow. It took me 7 boxes. But my decorations other then the tree are large. I have large nutcrackers and Santas and themed cookie jars that go all over the house. I have had these things for years. Today I'm decluttering and rearranging. Your livingroom and dining room look serene and lovely. Thanks for the inspiration.

You have a beautiful home. ❤ Happy New Year! Wishing you and your family a blessed 2019! My new years goal is continuing my act of kindness. I started on Dec. 26th, 2018. I cooked Christmas dinner like I normally do every year for my husband, myself and mother in law. I cooked so much food so I decided that next day to make plates and give to the homeless. I made plates in "to go" Styrofoam containers...ham, mashed potatoes w/gravy, stuffing, dinner rolls, chocolate chip cookies and a can of sweet tea...everything homemade. I didn't want all that food to go to waste. I then went out to look for homeless ppl and passed out the hot meals I had cooked. It was cold and snowing that day. I was happy I passed out allll the plates I had made. As I drove home I just started crying. I felt so sad seeing the homeless like that. I wish I could have done more. But my goal this is year is to feed the homeless more and give what I can. I dont have a lot. Im self employed only because of past work injuries so therefore I can't work. But I'm thankful and grateful with what I have. I have my husband, my parents, brothers, and family and they're all happy and healthy. That's enough for me...we have roofs over our head and I'm thankful for that. So I'm gonna do my best to give more. I love to cook and I will cook delicious home cooked meals and pass it out to the homeless. It makes me happy knowing they have something warm to eat. Sorry I rambled on and on 😊 Blessings to you and your family. ❤💕❤ #INSTAFAM ❤💕❤

I took all our decorations down Wednesday. My husband set out tables in our garage and I put everything on the tables by category (I am a clean and neat freak) lol The only thing I left up was our tree. I even washed all our Yorkie’s toys! My hubby took it down yesterday and cleaned and organized our garage today. We aren’t spring chickens so it was was a lot of work. LOL It feels so good to have our home clean and in order. I know I overdid it because my fibromyalgia is not playing nicely with my body.

Little helpful tip for your Christmas lights problem, had a bunny that did the exact same thing a few years ago. Make sure the lights have no electrical current going through them, If you split the plastic covering on the wire a bit so that the actual wiring is visible to you, wrap the two broken pieces of wiring back around one another making a twist in the wire where they are now joined again. Squeeze as tight as possible with small wire pliers, recover the now visible wiring with the plastic covering and then cover with some electrical tape. Your lights should work as good as new again ☺️♥️

I'm with you... the 9' foot flocked tree we REALLY wanted $1,500. Yeah right so we brought a real 9'foot tree and sprayed it with three cans of snow. One of our local Church's sells Christmas trees for charity every year, $120.00 Bucks and it was so fresh and smelled great...Winner...Thank you for sharing
