Great tutorial! I figured something out about the predictive stroke that might help. It works better for me when I zoom in to draw. I think it scales with the size of the brush for some reason. So with a thicker brush it works when you're more zoomed out of the canvas, but when you get a thinner brush, it's like it expects you to zoom into the canvas if you're not making a long line or scribble across the canvas. It's a bit clunky, but the more you keep that in mind, the more it works.

Same! I don't like apple so I can't get procreate, So this is what I gotta work with. I never know what do draw for the stickers though! I'm also used to traditional art so its art to transfer. I'm still just a beginner that hopes to be better! Best hopes for you and other digital art beginners.

Hide the background and then export it as png.

Keep the eyes and the mouth in a different layer.

Lock the layer and start filling the color with your brush. This way the color won't spill out.

I thought this was for beginners? Im about 20 seconds in and you already picked a brush with some settings and I dont even know how to do that lol. Is there anywhere I can learn how to do a drawing from start to finish from scratch? Im literally brand new to this and every tutorial I click on that says beginners, including this one, insinuates I know how to pick brushes and what not. Also, I thought these apps had palm rejection? Why is my hand on the screen causing it to make marks with the brush?

If you want palm rejection, a cheap alternative is a glove of any kind

You’ve got to go in settings and prioritize your pen on the app for palm rejection. Mine only draws with the Apple Pencil because that’s how I set it on the app.

You can enable Palm rejection in the settings! It is called "Pen Mode"
