I love Molly Patrick! I have been a fan since the channel was called Bold Vegan and followed her to Clean Food Dirty Girl . I have taken her class. She taught me how to batch cook, a skill I use almost EVERY TIME I COOK! And I totally love her 💜sweary Saturday emails. Fun banter and great plant-based recipes.

Loved your chat with Molly Patrick! I watched it on You Tube and then listened to Podcast again as I ran my errands. You asked about the potty situation, but with all the cold weather and snow how did they bathe with no running water?? Maybe you can ask when you go on her podcast. 🙂

@20:55 I Love to Squat. Some people buy a Squatty Potty. But I sit on the toilet and bring both of my feet on the on the potty. I know most cannot do this but it has worked for me for many years. It is squatting on the potty! Some people may not be limber enough.

I LOVE Vidalia onions!! I buy them at Costco or local grocery store when in season. They’re sweet n great in recipes. Store them in a cool, dry place and if I don’t eat them before they soften up I dice them up and freeze them for sautéing, in soups, beans, or salsa!

In-season onions are so much tastier! Fingers crossed that they taste good to Chuck. 🤞😊

One of my most memorable (Tuesday's alliteration) outhouse moments occurred years ago when I had made the unfortunate decision to wear coveralls on a minus 30C day. When the time came to use the loo, I had to take off my parka to undo my coveralls. Add to that sitting on a freezing cold plastic seat . . . things sorta "seized up" and it took all kinds of concentration and self-talk for me to finally pee.

Vegan society was started in 1948. Vegetarian Society started in 1850- 1860. So, veganism became more popular in 2000 but it was known by those who were interested very long ago.
