Clean Mama vs. Motivated Moms CLEANING Routine | Review and Comparison!

Great video and I appreciate the comparison. I really like the Motivated Mom app because I only see that day and it’s less overwhelming. I customized the daily task list and I like the small segments. Vacuuming the whole house feels overwhelming to me and I have a cordless vacuum that runs out anyway. I do better with very small focused tasks and ignoring the big picture so I don’t feel overwhelmed. If I miss a day, I just keep moving forward and catch it next time rather than trying to catch up, except for monthly and yearly tasks. I like how you pointed out the importance of personality differences, because that’s an important factor in finding what works for you.

Fantastic breakdown! Having tried both Clean Mama and Motivated Moms, I agree with your conclusions. Have you tried Organised Mum (a room a day instead of a task a day) or Flylady (daily routines, theme days and one zone per week)? Would love to see you try those as well! I have settled on sort of a hybrid of Flylady and Clean Mama as my forever routine. I love the simplicity of Clean Mama's weekly tasks but love the daily routines and zone cleaning of Flylady. It's fun to try new methods and it's ok to mix and match! 😊

Totally agree! Mixing and matching is a great way to create a routine that works well for you and your home. I’m familiar with Flylady, but not Organised Mum, so I’ll have to take a look at that! Thanks for the suggestions! 😊

With MOMO I felt like I just had to trust the process. I never knew what was coming for the next day and it seemed all over the place, but...my fridge was getting very clean with what felt like minimal effort. I really like her focus on the kitchen. I did end up falling behind though and when that happened I gave up on it. I still pay for the app because I like to jump around with cleaning systems and it's only $1.99/month. I'm sure I'll give it a go again but this week I'm giving Clean Mama a try thanks to your influence!
