Clean Mont Blanc: The Search for Microplastics on the Top of Europe // Zimy Da Kid X Summit NGO

Summer 2021, I went on an amazing journey all around the Mont Blanc mountain range to search for microplastics !
We traveled around the massif together with ‪@summitngo‬ and scientists from the NGO Aqualti to collect water samples from the outflows of 18 glaciers in all three countries that are part of the Mont Blanc range: France, Switzerland and Italy.
The goal of the expedition: to better understand the mechanisms of atmospheric transfers and accumulation of microplastic particles in ecosystems and ultimately prove that microplastics don't only travel in the water but in the air we breath as well !
