I wash mine with a silicon brush cleanser tool and baby shampoo, works great and it’s pretty cheap compared to brush soaps. Then I lay them on a towel separately to dry. Takes about one day. Always worked great for me!

10 year beauty advisor here. Is all in the soap you use. Do not use something that is creating to much foam. I use baby shampoo

I use the shampoo and conditioner I had before I learned about hair care. So it dries out my hair but hey 🤷🏼‍♀️ the brushes are clean. Although sometimes I am so tempted to clean them like I clean my paint brushes, which is with hand sanitizer lol

from someone with hormonal acne, a host of lifestyle changes I maintain like eating well, exercising, sleeping enough, avoiding dairy and sugar and etc etc etc,, on $100 prescription but still has severe hormonal cystic acne -- I wish I could solve this problem with a simple brush washing routine. I’m not even kidding I found the easiest way to clean the brushes and blenders. First rinse them as much as you can then soak them in water for like 5 minutes and squeeze it all out. Get a fresh bowl of water and add dish soap. Mix that around and add baking soda. Let that sit for a little while you squeeze all the sponges and dirt out of them. Drain water and rinse the brushes and sponges. Then soak in more water soap and baking soda for one hour. Then rinse everything and dry 😊 I’ve done this a few times and it works really well

This is why I buy many sets of makeup brushes and sponges. I have bag where I put all the used ones so I can still have fresh and clean ones everyday. I just clean them all on Saturdays then let them dry until Sunday.
