I wash mine with a silicon brush cleanser tool and baby shampoo, works great and it’s pretty cheap compared to brush soaps. Then I lay them on a towel separately to dry. Takes about one day. Always worked great for me!

I use the shampoo and conditioner I had before I learned about hair care. So it dries out my hair but hey 🤷🏼‍♀️ the brushes are clean. Although sometimes I am so tempted to clean them like I clean my paint brushes, which is with hand sanitizer lol

You should get the mac brush cleaner it is amazing you just have to put all your brushes in a cup and pour in the cleaner it takes 10 minutes and then rinse the brushes. I hope this helps

You might want to try more gently motions with your brushes when you clean them. All your movements should be from the roots to the ends of the bristles. Otherwise it will damage the form of the brush and put soap, water and dirt back into the brush. It can potentially harm the part where bristles are glued together and you will find your brush shedding. It’s especially noticeable with cheaper ones.

Makeup artist here, buy isopropyl alcohol, soak them for 1 minute in a glass and clean them on either paper towels or normal towel that will forever be stained. Isopropyl alcohol leaves no residue and disinfects, gets EVERYTHING out. Soap will damage your brushes, look at brush cleaners ingredients, they have isopropyl alcohol, you don’t need the other stuff. First time I did this sooo much came out of my “clean” brushes and it dries super fast

this is why i clean my brushes every time i use them lol. i also don't wear makeup super often though so it actually makes sense to, i can see you not wanting to do that every single time if you actually wear makeup often
