I loved this vid so much. If i can recommend you one thing is to put your shelves together, that way your room will feel a lot more bigger than it is . And also, you can put that cute white desk on your right wall , right where you walk in, so it wont feel really crowded .

The lights are just over 2 feet away from my top shelf plants, although even the plants on the floor benefit from it, and they are about 5.5 feet away!

Can you show us how you set up your grow lights so that the light reaches more plants...if that makes any sense? I bought two grow lamps and clipped them to the top of my plant shelf but only the plants on the first two levels get enough light, and I feel like clipping a lamp on each level isn't the answer. Your help is so appreciated

The only way I can reach more plants is by using the Mars Hydro ones or LED strips, my clamp lamps only shine on a couple of plants like you're saying!
