As much as I thought I understood the computer science, the 64k demo scene keeps proving me total idiot... I can't even think about being able to just imagine how this is possible... And yet, there it is... Guys my imaginary hat is going all the way to my knees, this is outstanding, pretty much as all your other demos!!!

You're only half-correct. They do indeed channel intros from parallel universe, but due to the laws of physics, energy must be conserved. So while our universe receives those wonderful and stunning demos, the parallel universe receives the bytes. So actually, this demo isn't 64k, but -64k, and every time it gets played, a small part of our world is lost. Now *THAT* is a true Conspiracy.

As usual, running the actual .exe is absolutely worth it, loving it. The grain filter is completely missing in video due to compression, and everything is generally too smooth in video. Though, there is zero AA when I run it, which sways it the other way around.

No. Just a solid, heartfelt, absolute "no." In their current form (and why would they change) NFTs are not only an absolute menace to the environment, but also nothing more than selling receipts causing a gold rush to trick starving artists to transfer wealth to the people running minting companies and rich art dealers treating "art" as a tradeable commodity. (Yeah, we know, Beeple got "rich" - but we're not Beeple. Know anyone else who got rich? Assume you're not that person.) The whole thing is morally objectionable. We don't do this to get rich or to make any money, really, and the idea that someone skims off the top of what we do sounds abhorrent.

Demo like these make me disgusted at how bloated modern software development had become. When you consider the huge leaps and bounds in hardware performance over the years, yet the relative performance/speed doesn't reflect this. I believe developers have something to learn from the past. Keep up this amazing work!

There's some truth to that, but be conscious not to extrapolate too much - our intros have limited content and they only have to work on a limited set of machines with a certain minimum spec, and while they are tiny, they absolutely hammer all other system resources. Put it this way: Unpacked, this intro would be potentially up to the gigabytes in size, but it would load way quicker.

There's always "the operating system" whether that's AmigaOS or the C64 kernel; our approach is that as long as the most common version of the operating system (and of course drivers etc) are installed then that constitutes as part of the platform.

64 kilobytes is a very severe limitation, so these are packed as tightly as possible, stripping any and all non-essential data from the file, which trips up antivirus heuristics. This is normal. The file linked in the description is safe.
