thank you, Brian, for a nice video I used bleachbit a second time after I restored my system from backup and was careful that time and checked basically the stuff that was safe and no deep cleaning and no free space cleaning and like you showed it was fast and went well. you gave good advice as always

Good video Brian and as always very handy to know. I use the Samsung Magician software to look after the drive and I don't find any reason to use aftermarket software to clean the machine. A video I would like to see is one that covers restoring the OS from a backup source if the internal hard drive fails and you have to swap out the drive for a new one.

I still use a mechanical drive and never use the auto Disc Defrag - did once and downloads slowed things down. I simply Analyze once in a while. I have learned that anything under about 8 - 10% is a waste of time for me. Should note that I only use about 55GB of HHD space.

Hi Brian I have a massive problem. I followed one of your tutorial on installing Linux on my win 10 laptop to check it out. I followed your tutorial to create a bootable drive when I get to the part to activate windows my Product I'd has faded on my pc. Also when I click I done have a product key and choose win 10 home and then accept licence the next page I got 3 drive partitions and it can't install windows on either. Not I am stuck with Linux

I would stay as far away from Bleachbit as possible. It can do a great deal of damage if you arnt care, as you noted. If you have Win 10, you dont need any cleaners

How do you clean your PC case, I mean dust particles and all that stuff? I use air blower to dust it off. Do not use Vacuum cleaner to dust off PC guys, it can create static electricity and can damage your components. Hold the case fans, gpu fans while blowing air to prevent them from over-spinning.

O&O used to work well on old mechanical drives, but was slow as hell. Avoid these tools on SSDs, NVMEs, and such.

Bleachbit also messed up my OS a few years ago and I made the decision to never ever use that software again .... and no-one will convince me otherwise 😛

Try Privazer. Trust me, if you've tried all the usual cleaners you'll see straight away how good it is. There's a small learning curve to set it up, but once you have, it saves your preferences so the next time you just click clean. If you do try it and need any help, let me know.

@@DimpieDeBruyn I use turbo. It does the same job, but uses more system resources to do it faster. It just means it's best not to do anything else whilst it's running.

Thank you Brian. Great words of warning and wisdom about using 🔥Bleachbit blindly. 🔥 I accidentally broke my new laptop's Google Chrome installation. It took using Revo Uninstaller Deep Scan clean for Chrome and a 64-bit standalone Chrome installer to get Chrome functioning again for me. Definitely use with caution.
