Clean Your Diesel Injectors When Replacing Diesel Fuel Filter

Add half a litre of two stroke oil into half a tank of diesel your welcome this can also cure sticky injectors

This is a good method, but the only drawback I think is that most of the liqui moly will bypass the injectors through the return line and end up back in the fuel tank and will be diluted before being used by the engine. If you have an issue with your engine I think the method where you disconnect the fuel line is better because all of the product will be used by the engine at 100% concentration. You can by a product designed to go directly into the fuel tank makes 75 litres which is better if you want to add it directly into the fuel tank.

Even if you disengage and use teh fuel line, not all fuel is ingested into the cylinder. Fuel usage fwiw is based on engine operating speed load. Even at idle a typical diesel is sipping on fuel and most fuel is returned to the tank. Even at medium load again most fuel is returned thru the return line to the tank. In a lot of these items, the return fuel returns to to the tank due to lack of need and it helps in cooling the injectors by returning the hot fuel away from the head.

The unused cleaner is going back into the tank as I said in my previous comment. It should be returned back to the container where it will be used up eventually by the engine. You obviously didn’t read my comment lol

@@derekmartin8498 Have you ever even read the can instructions or online instruction.? the Return the fluid and in a cycle is a "remedial" as in a extreme issues which is surely not the case here. He clearly explains as PM you pour contents of the 2 can into the filter and the excess into the tank and run the engine again as preventive application. \Just like changing your dirty oil and filter is a preventive application. disconnecting fuels and do all of the other action is not warrant or called out unless it's a extreme case. All other nonsense posted is just that "nonsense". Changing injectors or having injector sent out for cleaning is again not PM it's after a extreme issues or the components have worn out. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS its clear on how to use it.

120 psi no way minimum is 1400 bars or 20000 psi mine is 1600 bar or 23000

He may be exaggerating a tad but yes on the high side from injection pump to injectors usually runs about 12,000 to 15,000 psi
