As a cheer leader who has never done anything harder than an arabesque with 2 bases i have a ton of respect and her team mates r so supportive

No matter how annoying the cheer spirit can potentially be, it is infectious, Acrobatic perfection will always be impresive.

Masterclass in hand positioning! This guy is super consistent. This creates a STABILE bass for the flyer. Rewatch looking only as him. Superlative!

I have a question is this harder on the guy or the girl?
@karyon10079 ай бұрын
Both, TBH. He has to focus on core and upper body strength, steadiness, and keeping her from crashing head-first into the ground and snapping her neck. She has to keep her equilibrium while flipping and twisting into the air, land upright on *someone's hands*, and hold her entire body rigid and balanced while putting on a whole performance with her face and hands. In the handstand, she doesn't freak out when there's a wobble, but keeps herself taught and steady despite being upside down 6 feet in the air. That's an impressive level of control. The amount of trust she has to put in these two guys is insane -- flyers are trained to never try to catch themselves when they fall, because if they flail their arms or kick out their legs, they can injure the people trying to catch them (I once had to catch a flyer while they literally kicked me in the face in high school cheer... it sucked). So, she is putting herself in an extremely vulnerable position where, if anything goes wrong, she has to control her instincts to try to catch herself and instead just trust these guys to keep her alive. So, yeah, hers is more impressive in terms of the mental aspects, agility, and balance. His requires more strength and protective instincts. She's basically an elite gymnast, and he's basically a weight-lifter. The reason people don't tend to ask if it's harder to win a gold medal at the Olympics in gymnastics or weightlifting is because we recognize they're different skill sets that are both extremely impressive and difficult to compare. Same thing here -- they both require such different skill sets and body types that you're never going to find a group of people capable of doing both of these jobs at *this level* who can actually tell us which is harder.😆

@peetabrown58139 ай бұрын
I notice this in other similar videos, when happy the fellow female cheerleader/ bestie runs and hugs them. But the guy did get a huge from his buddy
@kristinarobinson52779 ай бұрын
@peetabrown5813 I saw the male hug him, but I think the female should as well, because it takes a lot of strength to toss you around like that and not drop you, show some gratitude
@peetabrown58139 ай бұрын
@@kristinarobinson5277 your right, I also think it is strange. I was just saying at least he got a hug from someone
@kristinarobinson52779 ай бұрын
@peetabrown5813 Oh, I agree with you, I didn't mean to sound like I was arguing it. It's hard in text sometimes to understand the full intent of what is being said. But no, I fully agree that at least someone acknowledged him.
