I love the 90's Barbies. They have such pretty faces and I love the twist and turn tiny waist and the high heel feet. Surprisingly I find quite a few at thrift stores, naked usually, (for $1 each) but they are so much fun to dress. I love your videos. Your podcast is my favorite Barbie podcast. Good thing you Big Ed-ed Skipper's neck because as a child, I could never keep Skipper's neck intact! 3. That is a really good deal for the lot! Amazing find! 4. I remember I had a blue mermaid barbie. I live in europe /latvia. And it was aroun 1990s/1995 . My mom gave it to birthday. But the trick was that you could color the hair blue too. Like with some gel. I do not see this option here in these oldschool barbies. Does anybody remember that barbie? Sadly i rand into my first rip off as a collector with an online marketplace listing on facebook from a seller who had a teen skipper 1990s doll. Paid her and everything seemed orite as she still messaged me to let me know the package will be sent and then disappeared. Had her kids on her profile picture and everything coz i still took a sceenshot of it and want to put out an alert on her in the barbie collectors group im in on facebook here in South Africa. Hi Arjen. I know you know your Barbies and have a lot of them. You may have already seen the dolls I'm about to suggest for your pastel hair and iridescent clothing tastes. If so, and you didn't like them because they are very DIFFERENT kinds of dolls, then each to their taste and no problem. Okay, have you seen the Spectra line of dolls from 1987? They are kind of weird, but in a wonderful way. Pastel beautiful hair like the mermaids. Unique and sweet face sculpts not used much after that, and iridescent and lacy clothing. They're very cute, but they aren't for everyone since they look a bit robotic as their bodies have been "chromed." So like I said, they're "different." Like the mermaids you showed today, they can be a bit pricey. But if you're patient, you can get a deal on them too, I'm sure. I love those dolls and they were only made for one year as far as I know. Since you're European, I've read that in France they were called "Chromatics" in case you're interested in looking them up. Beautiful mermaids in today's video thanks for that. Really loved looking at them together. So bright and pretty on a grey Autumn day. ❇🐬💖
