Try some sandpaper on those alcantara bobbles, works a treat and no worries about cutting skin or fabric. Bonnet release cable is a common fault on those cars, it's quite often the small plastic box on the wing that the cable goes into into that's at fault, not the cable itself, that and the two catches in the slam panel being bolted on too tight, slacken the small bolts off just enough to allow a little movement and clean them out. Sorted.

the best way to remove all of the alcantara pilling is with a cordless beard trimmer.blade flat on seat and just mow it like a lawn.

Love the Rover 75 , I bought the 2.5 V6 Tourer a couple of years ago . I had always fancied one and I had just been through a terrible time getting over a serious RTC . And as my vectra has just been written off and the insurance paid out for total loss . I thought it would be nice to have a change and a bit of something new . I found the 75 V6 Tourer and paid top price of £800 for it as I knew the engine was bullet proof and was recommended that engine and model. And it sounded beautiful and drove graciously and so comfortable . I had it 2 weeks and I could have cried and nearly did , the gearbox went on it and I was told to fix it would mean the engine and gearbox would need dropping out to change the clutch and pressure plate . The quote was a further £900 !!!. I couldn’t afford it and as I had bought it from a private seller, I couldn’t get my money back. In the end I sold it on eBay for £120 😢😭🤬. But despite this I’d love to own a British racing green MG ZT 75 Tourer with black leather and silver alloys . I love peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwiches. Discovered it after my son moved to America and suggested I tried it. But it has to be on thick Hovis white bread 😊. Really enjoyed this video and great work. ✌️😉
@ZedTee1904 жыл бұрын
I had the ZT190 (2500cc V6) for 14 years, traded it in 3 years ago. It had a FSH inc. the cambelt changed twice. Great cars, just a shame the clutch causes expensive problems, and the handbrake continually needs adjusting. The one you sorted, at least had seats that weren't ripped like they usually are! That diesel engine (M47R) the R means restricted performance, is a grean engine, and some in the Zt/75 community have tuned them to pushing 250 bhp and tons of torque!
@duaneralph26924 жыл бұрын
Great work. Decent clean that mate. 1, derived BMW engine (m47,) it's derived from the BMW diesel. 2, someone has confused that car. Zt with a pos spec plastic dash, should be silver/grey. 3, watch them wires(connectors) sensors under the seat, they have a habit of chucking a warning up. Good work. Keep it up!

Great job once again. As for your question, Barbeque sauce on pizza instead of marinara. I thought it sounded gross, but it's actually really good. I don't like pizza without it anymore. Also making a hot honey ham sandwich with a glazed donut instead of bread. Cut the donut in half and put the glazed side in (towards the meat) put on your meat and toppings and pan fry. It is so good.

I broke down and sampled a minuscule bit and was actually so surprised. Whelp, now I quite enjoy it; usually with cucumbers, as a salad dressing replacement or, even better, with garlic powder and jalapeño flavored pretzel bits. I have only ever known people to eat it with peaches.....I haven't been that ambitious yet lol Needless to say, if you haven't yet, please give it a go!

Doesn't matter what car you buy, insurance is a "good deal" if you get lucky and get it under £1000, so pretty much everything is a rip off. I spent the summer of 1988 in New York when I was 8 years old, (I’m Irish) and they offered me a peanut butter & jelly sandwich. I honestly thought they meant jelly, like ice cream & jelly. Turns out it was peanut butter & jam and I still enjoy it to this day, my kids give me funny looks every time I offer them some. A food I used to hate was parsnips but my wife roasts them with carrots and they’re great.

This was once a cherished vehicle as there are a lot of non factory bits. The mirrors are from an older car as they are the older alloy framed ones rather than the later plastic cheapies off the Rover 25. The wood effect electric mirror switches were never factory fit, which were originally black. That might be wrap or a car club order. There are Rover 75 and MG ZT with the BMW M47 engine which have gone well over 300k. Well screwed together vehicles that last and last. The best Rover ever made.

A brilliant car is the Rover ZT/75. I've had mine for years and it still looks as good as the day i bought it. This particular ZT looks like it was once owned by an enthusiast looking at the extra Walnut finishers on the window switches. The diesels are great engines and will run forever it looked after. Just keep the plenum drains clear to avoid the ECU flooding and watch out for worn out clutches, There a pain to sort out. Apart from that there pretty much bullet proof
@sammytheseal23074 жыл бұрын
It's not so much the clutches on these, it's the hydraulics. I think clutches last 80-100k, so about average but the hydraulics can be quite unpredictable. To be honest I think all rovers are good, people just don't quite appreciate them for what they are, a lot of brand snobbery.
