Awesome video as ever mate, there isn’t much better than sitting back and looking at a freshly cleaned car especially if a glimmer of low sun pokes through ❤️ just out of interest next time you do it try skipping the pre rinse and just go straight in with the foam, I’ve done same as you forever but watched a few vids saying the foam works better and I tried it and it definitely does 🤗 fine motor that cupra 👌

Thanks mate! You see I did that in a previous wash video (skipped pre rinse) and I got roasted for it 😂 But maybe I’ll try it again and see how I get on 😁

Yep....top job mate! One thing though I'd switch out your wheel cleaner to Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel....its mega !! And also use Bilt Hamber Atom Mac....stops all your discs turning brown ! 😉 Great vid as usual 👌

Hello mate liking a different style of vid and the Cupra is looking top notch again. The weather has been really bad but I finally cleaned my Fiesta ST this week as I couldn’t stand it being that dirty any longer! Always been an Autoglym fan myself mate. 👍🏻

It’s another level at the moment. So much road salt about and with the cold evenings the roads always get wet overnight. Pain in the ass!

I shouldn't be putting off cleaning my GTI any longer. I had to leave the car dirty for the MOT last year because it was dreadfully cold and it kept snowing on and off, but I don't have an excuse this year 😂 Got my MOT and service next week and I know I'll be commuting less for 2 weeks because of my workplace changing locations, so I was going to leave it until then so I can get the satisfaction of having a clean car for that bit longer haha! Brilliant job with the clean by the way mate 😁My thorough clean motivation goes out the window too because I could spend 3 hours easily on a heavily soiled car, but it'll be back to square one in about 2 days of commuting 😂Do you use any sealants out of interest or do you do a normal clean?

Thanks mate - yea it’s horrible when it’s filthy again a few days later 😩 Roll on the summer! I just use the spray wax I used in this video and I’ll give it a coat of extra gloss protection maybe once a year…

That's the similar approach I do with mine although I tend to use Sonax BSD as a spray on and wipe off sealant. Might use that as a drying aid on the next wash as the beads aren't coming through as much now haha!

i really need to get out and clean the focus, its been sat for nearly 2 months with no mot now. booked in for monday fingers crossed she will fly through again. cupras lookin good

How’s that work for you using the drying towel after applying aqua wax? Is it job done after that or do you have to buff again with a microfibre? Looks like a fast technique.

Hi mate - after drying it’s job done. You can alternatively dry the car then apply the spray wax and buff off with a microfibre.

Yeah I normally completely dry the car then apply wax with microfibre cloth and buff with a clean cloth. But this looks a lot easier especially for winter washing.

Thanks mate! Well my Cupra can’t put its power down in current conditions unless I feather the throttle, so the Conti’s don’t feel great to be honest. Fine in the dry though.

I use their polar blast snow foam - 200ml foam then top up to 1000ml with water

Gaz try yumcar products m8 different league there yumcar wash shampoo is mint and it foams up like mad pal,and don't forget inside that petrol flap lol

I’ve always been an autoglym guy haha - tbh that particular shampoo doesn’t lather up that much but they do another one which does which I would normally buy but didn’t on this occasion. Haha yea the flap gets a wipe at the end usually 😂

not a believer in this quick wax and quick ceramic coat shit, its better than nothing ofc but just take 3 hours on a sunday and get a proper wax that way its easier to keep clean also

It’s ok if you’re pushed for time and you’re after a top up. Gives far better beading than just a shampoo and it only takes a few minutes 👍🏻

HELL NO! That’s a totally different mitt mate. I have designated wheel / bodywork mitts (albeit they are the same style) And wheels are done first. At 2:13 you’ll see them both 😁
