I just wanna say thank you for doing what you do. When I started watching your videos I was a washer at my local dealership. I always loved seeing you transform cars and make them like look like they rolled off the factory floor. After I was layed off because of covid I started doing research on detailing products. After some time I bought the equipment I needed and within no time I opned up my own detailing bsuiness. I'm now 8 months in going strong. The freedom and joy this has brought me is beyond words. From the bottom of my heart thank you detail geek. You inspired me to do what I love and make people smile because of it.

Weird how much my feelings about these vids has changed. When I was on unemployment I would smoke and watch these and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing the finished product. Now, after a year as a detailer at a collision shop, I can relate to the process and appreciate the time it takes to complete each step, and even feel a bit of pride in my work, even if the job itself does suck sometimes.

I could not live in a cold climate with snow anymore. I lived in an area that had snow through-out the winter, however it was before I could drive. I am obsessed with keeping my car pristine: dealing with snow, salt and slush on the car and in the car would put me over the edge. Kudos on a job well done.

My roommates and I have watched your videos for a few years now and we love them! But there has been something that’s been bugging us. You’re so thorough and precise at cleaning every inch of the car, and it’s fantastic to watch. But the bucket!! The steamer waist water bucket has muck running down the bottom of it as you empty it out! I know you rinse it out after… All of your work is super satisfying to watch and seeing a clean bucket would have the same affect. Honestly not a huge deal but I had to mention it. Thank you for taking the time to run cameras while you work for our enjoyment! Keep up the fantastic work👍🏼

I spend my days running with a shammy washing multiple car lots with a huge pressure washer every day and trust me you have to be in shape to do detailing and pressure washing 😂 I tell people all the time it's not an easy job. Much respect man. Diesels are a killer. It's harder than a warehouse job.

For the interior, when you're vacuuming, you should use something to vibrate the carpet to loosen the particles stuck in there while you suck it up. Works pretty well! If you've ever seen videos of what sand does when put on a plate connected to speaker system, that's what I'm talking about. A high speed thumper can work magic

Never quite had to deal with the beater life, even though she was starting to get a tad old when I got her (2004 Volvo XC90 back in 2018). Graduating college soon and still have the car, no plans of selling!

Thank you for the tool recommendations. I have the mc1375 at home, I was steam cleaning my tile floors at home and the floor mop plastic housing broke where the attachment connects. I need to buy a new one, only 15 bucks. **I'm not complaining about the steamer, it's freakin amazing!!**

Wow! The Jetta transformation was awesome! I was shocked the seats were dirtier than the carpet! Now all they need to do is get a little paint to touch up the rust spots if they’re not going to repair them. I hope his son appreciates the car and his Dad.

One thing I would of done is use an ozone machine and change the cabin air filter for them. People rarely ever change those things. I mean if it's only $10-30 it adds value to the service.

I think he's said previously that he only spot cleans headliners. You really shouldn't ever clean the whole headliner, especially with steam, as it can melt the adhesive. These older Jettas too were notorious for having sagged headliners.

When I worked as car cleaner/detailer I was amazed how for example 2 year old Mercedes looked worse than many 10-15 year old cars just because of neglection. Personally I'd lose my sleep if I didn't take care of my cars 🆘️
