Cleaning a Kaloud Lotus, the HookahJohn way

I usually don't have this issue, but decided to show you a trick that will work when you need to clean a Kaloud Lotus.
This was not planned, but came out pretty good.

Yeah, I can definitely attest to a lotus burning. My lotus 2 top fell off when someone ran into table with force. Fell right on my leg. I've now got a honeycomb scar with an ornate K in the middle for three weeks now.

It is better put the lotos into boiling (very hot) water for a minute or so and all stuff fall away. It is going to help.

what if you put a little piece of foil under the HMD just to not stick the tabacco, after you are done drop the foil and no need wash the burnt tabacco, idk does it work, just an idea...

well, that would block the air vents in the lotus, so, I don't know?

@@ChronicHookah y i understand, but when you use a foil and a charcoal, you make those holes no? i know someone will say why would i put a hmd on foil instead of charcoal, y truth, but point is how to use a hmd and dont get it dirty...i would try at home, doesnt cost nothing, but still dont have hookah... maybe I'm just talking nonsense...ty for repaly

It's actually pretty efficient with water, but then again, I only did this once for the video. It's too much work to set up for cleaning a lotus. I was cleaning my cars that day.

It diminishes the flavor of the bowl. But your smoking through a slab of heated metal, so that should be par for the course.

@@Moccalocca100 I completely agree. But a lot of people prefer it for daily smoking, which is fine too. Some may notice a difference in flavor though :)

You have to smoke with contact to the tobacco then its better than foil or at least on the same Level (overpack)
