I got this Peugeot in for a routine valet but it turned out to need way more than 'routine' cleaning.

I think this was my favorite one so far. Did you see when Moose ran through when you were dressing the tyres 😝?! My favorite part was when you were polishing the car and we could see your dull reflection on the parts you hadn't gotten to yet. As you went down the car more and more of your reflection became crystal clear. I found a new appreciation for polishing today! The whole vid was superb though! That steam and vac combo for the storage compartments... So simple, so effective, genius! Even on the limited budget you turned this into a brand new car. Many other places would have not gone as far as you did. Thanks for your quality, your care, and integrity! These videos make my day!

Haha. Before you started talking about the back seats I was about to type that the base also folds so that the seats fold flat with the second boot floor level. That leaves a space underneath. Now ours is very clean so never needs a vacuum there. Although I have seen Peugeot lift it up when they were inspecting the diesel fuel pump. They just remove those screws and they pivot backwards.

Hello, Autoshine Cars! Just found your channel a few weeks ago via a comment in one of The Detail Geek’s videos, and I’ve been binging your content ever since! The video I’ve enjoyed the most so far is the stolen car cleanup with Danny W.’s artwork on it. It was such a huge transformation, and I never knew you could remove spray paint from a car so easily with a little tar remover! I can only imagine that those impounded vehicles are the vehicles you end up putting the most work into, and the difference in before and after really shows! Appreciating all of the hard work you put into these details!

I spray any silicone type dressings onto a cloth or small piece of sponge, and apply it that way. This keeps it off the steering wheel, pedals, gear lever etc, but especially the car's carpets, ( stopping silicone eventually getting on my toilet and kitchen floors coverings via my shoes and sock, creating an accident waiting to happen situation). Great videos that also inspire me in detailing my Nissan cube Z12. Many thanks, and by the way your accent is very nice to listen to.

This car is severely underrated. Particularly in the 2.0 hdi auto spec with the glass roof, head up display, retracting screen with sat nav and airplane cockpit style buttons in the front. These are on top models. The boot floor raises and lowers in 3 levels and still has a full size spare. The split tailgate is just such a cool and convenient feature. We have the 2.0 hdi exclusive auto. It also tows a caravan like there's nothing even at the back. That 2.0 hdi engine is one of the best diesels ever made. It does not have nasty fumes and it does so without extra urea solution and it has good power and torque and is refined and strong. It it feels like a solid car. It also rides amazingly well on the highway with people often looking shocked when passing them at anything over 130 km/h. And it remains smooth and quiet even then. People are also surprised when we ride them away off the line. The diesel pulls. Sad to see this car like this. Although I must say this base model does not show this car at its best.

Since you're asking what I like the most in your videos: You're taking the seats out for cleaning. :) Not only does this end up in a better general result, I guess you spare yourself form a lot of complications and wasting time by fiddling around to get all the rubbish out. Your American colleagues should model themselves on you - they have all these fancy million dollar hot water extractors and stuff which give damn great results, but yet they do only half the job as they almost all the time leave the seats in! Keep it going that way man, you do a brilliant job! ....and my wife loves your dog :D

Answer to question time : This video, actually. You hit two sore points for me in this video. 1) I did wonder what you did to avoid damp seats before handing back to customer. Blower on heat with AC answered that. 2)The silicon spray. Your subtitles mentioned "bring on the haters". Well, here I am, happy of the acknowledgement. Silicone has its place, but for me, its place was on plastics of 10+ years ago. I wouldn't dream of using it on modern cars, with the vast variety of surfaces, finishes and screens. Despite that, fab vid, lad. Keep 'em coming.

This car is very underrated especially in the 2.0 hdi auto version with glass roof, head up display, retractable screen with sat nav, the buttons which look like plane switches and the leather heated seats. The engine is probably one of the best diesels around. No nasty fumes and smells, brisk, efficient and yet powerful and torquey. People are surprised when we pass them at over 130km/h and at that speed it is stable and quiet. It tows a caravan like there's nothing there. It also feels solid. People are always surprised when they drive in it and start touching things and asking what's what. I love that about French cars. They're not the typical boring. It's always nice to drive them. Sad to see this car this way and this base model doesn't show the car at its best though. This car cleans up well because I think it wasn't cheaply made. Peugeot made an effort on this one. Despite the older switches etc they made sure the car itself was quality. I love ours!

The Astra video was my favourite so far, just the total difference made to it by the end, it was like a new car. The auction cars are the best! They’re all top quality though!🙌🙌

Great video as always. Because of you I bought a monthly pass at my local carwash. I get to go as often as i want for an outside and inside clean. Love always having a clean car. I got rid of the bio hazard jumpsuit.....

Hey Gary....the work you do on these cars is absolutely impeccable! I would let you do my vehicle if I lived over there in the UK. You have a very good method of cleaning all of your cars. I always look forward to the next video you post. Thanks mate!!

The interior cleaning is my favorite, and probably the vacuuming is the most satisfying. I surely hope the owners appreciate how clean it is now and take better care of it. Sadly, though, they probably won't. :( Oh well. That's what keeps you in business. :) Love your videos! I think I'll go vacuum my car today. ;)

I really enjoyed the Corsa interior that you did a while back where the carpet was removed, you can't get a much more thorough interior clean short of a bare metal restoration!

A tip for those worried about air in the car, I like to change out the cabin air filter when I deep clean a car, or buy a used vehicle.

I liked the Audi TT and the Volvo V70 video but I must say the videos with the biggest transformations are the most enjoyable. I honestly don't know how people can live in such disgusting conditions

I enjoy all of them but the ones with the small repairs the most, for instance the one with the volvo v70. I also like seeing the dog wondering around and growing up.

Probably the best video I’ve watched was the blue Peugeot, it was horrible inside and cigarette ends everywhere 🤮 I detail cars in my spare time and there was no way I could have done that! So hats off to you 😎 My favourite part of all your videos has got to be the carpet extraction, even myself doing it i look at it and I am amazed at the colour of some carpets/seats!
