This might work for me, I have a 2004 Pug 307 which 95% of the time is fine, only every so often I get a warning with a abs sensor shortly after starting the car, which if I turn off and turn on the ignition the warning goes away, this might happen like once a fortnight or something, which leads me to a dirty contact rather than an actual abs sensor fault.... definitely worth a clean befor replace

bieżnia to jedno ale częściej się zdarza że trzeba zdjąć tarczę i wyczyścić miejsce gdzie siedzi czujnik abs... pod nim rdzewieje metal i powoduje to odsunięcie czujnika od bieżni tym samym robiąc za dużą przerwę pomiędzy nimi... wyczyszczenie tego miejsca sprawia że czujnik wraca do właściwej pozycji i prawidłowo czyta pierścień magnetyczny. przerwa nie może przekroczyć 2mm bo wtedy zaczyna wywalać błąd na desce... sprawdzone osobiście...

Hey there folks, i got an issue with my abs as well and get a notification on my dashboard once i drive above a speed of 70km/h. I always hear after a while a soft beep sound in the back of my car which i think is the sensor. When i hit the brakes i can feel knocks in the brake pedal. What i am wondering is if i do the same things for my peugot 307 as in the video, will that fix the issue? Would be glad if someone lets me know thnx!

Hej,mam problem z 307 , wspomaganie załącza się dopiero po przejechaniu 1metra.bezpiecznik Maxsi wymieniony ,wtyczki przy pompie wspomagania też wyczyszczone .Problem zaczął się pojawiać jak przyszły przymrozki .Zastanawiam się czy przyczyną może być czujnik ABS czy może coś innego.

So i cleaned mine. All of them. Put them back together, still lights on . Took wheels off again, measured resistance, its 700 something on all of them. When i start the car, no faults. I use break and all good. After a while, it starts to beep and say " abs fault" . I checked all the fuses inside and under hood. All good. What can it be ?

Aaron Hipolito yep it comes on when im not using brakes so often when i do use them instead of engine braking it desapiers afther some time don't know why im in germany maybe rust or something on sensor im not sure

Can't you just spray everything down with brake cleaner and let the dirt drip off?

Hi GC, That is one alternative, sure. Just avoid spraying on the sensor itself :) Also the outer layer of the ring is made of some kind of rubber compound. I am not sure how does it handle lots of alcohol. I guess it should not be a problem, nonetheless have not tried that with extensive amount. Cheers!

I read somewhere that as long as it's non chlorinated it's safe on e.g. rubber. I've been "washing" my calipers, rotors and pads with brake cleaner during every tire swap for 3 years now. So I guess it's okay.

Why didn't you remove the abs sensor. It was gonna be more clean thus
