I love your content and thank you for taking the time to make the videos. I have an HD9 and the places you oil on the throat plate are not for oil. The manual has the oil points and it is pretty specific about oiling only in four places. Is there something you've learned about this that isn't common knowledge?

Excellent video - thank you! Question please : at 14 min, with the side cover off, what is it that you are oiling? Its always hard to see when there is a black surface behind. I presume its the needle shaft ( or needle shaft bar…or whatever this part is called) ? Or …? Anyway, great job. And the machine looked and sounded lovely after her spa treatment .
@TheBagMakersSewCiety

Yeah the needle shaft I place a small drop of oil where the parts meet so ie where there might be friction. Thank you for watching xx
