Best gun lubricant I have tried against heat and friction is Weapon Shield, I do however use Breakthrough cleaner, oil and grease in some of my firearms. Breakthrough makes very good products and recommend it.

First I heard about not putting any gun oil on the spring. Don't gun springs need moisture protection?

Spring receives enough oil lubricant from barrel and slide.
