Loved the simple touches for fall . And that you have added a hint of subtle color with the pillows. It makes me happy to see the white, on white,on white fading a little. Color adds some life into a room. Also when you were sweeping that gorgeous porch, I envisioned a black iron wall lantern on a hook next to your front door. A battery operated candle.... and you could add some fall leaves or Christmas sprigs seasonally . Also a made bed is an absolute must for me! it feels like half your work is done!

Way too hot for soup yet down here in Texas! (Though we are happy for our rain these last few days!) But, your soup reminds me of my go-to soup for fall, which uses swiss chard--a perennial in my garden, Italian sausage, potatoes or cauliflower bits, and a bit of cream. So good.
