This is very helpful. I’m a chronically ill Memaw who is 54. I have been unable to exercise for the last 12 years. Before I got sick I was always an “eat the frog” girl. Now, If I exercise I get worse and it eventually puts me in bed to recover. I truly miss exercising. Having said that I’m at my heaviest weight. I’m truly trying but seem to have no will power and I do tend to focus on what I can’t have. So, your advice is so good and I’ll give it a try. Thank you for sharing!

I'm rewatching some of your older videos to get motivation. I am at a very similar spot as you were. I just want health, but am at 230 pounds on my 5'5 frame after a very hard couple years with my Dad battling cancer and going to heaven rhis fall. I just want ro be healthy for my kids and know that tomorrow isnt promised. So I want to honor God by being the healthiest, best version of myself. Who he made me to be. It feels so daunting though. I have lost 70 pounds in the past after my babies and kept it off for about 5 years, but once my kiddos were in school I got a sedentary job and made poor nutritional choices. Add in a ridiculous amount of stress over a few years and here I am. I pray God helps me because I hate to feel this way. Thanks for your encouraging words and sharing your journey. Hopefully in a year I can be celebrating too!

You have made videos on encouragement and weight loss ideas. Can you make one on struggles? What do you still struggle with? Like do you skip workouts and why? Do you struggle to eat out in town healthy? Do you snack late? Do you get constipation? Does protein powder cause weight gain or constipation? Do you feel nervous to eat at times thinking you will gain weight? I struggle with gut issues and i have to limit what and when i eat. I dont eat or drink coffee in the morning until i come back from school drop off or walking. Because it would make me go to the bathroom. I cant eat after 6pm anything dairy or heavy it will upset my stomach. Do you feel you have gut issues since weight loss ?

Love love love the tan color paint in your entry powder room. With all the white wood and trim the room is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT as is. No need to wallpaper. I also love the same color in your very charming office off the great room. Also really like the paint color upstairs in the kids bedrooms. Your entire home is gorgeous and very well built. I hope you and your family have many wonderful decades of enjoyment

@ thank you for replying. Is that an easier run, or a hard run! I remember from one of your other videos that you used to do a hard run and a strength day on the same day 😭😅 I wasn’t sure if you’re still doing that while training for a marathon. I’m just beginning my running journey again and didn’t want to overdo it, but still need that strength training in there!
