How would you get mold out a top-load washing machine?

Spray with peroxide and scrub wherever you can reach, then run a hot, empty load with baking soda in the wash and vinegar in the rinse. Allow to dry and spray with peroxide again, then dry again. Leave the lid open after each use to let any moisture evaporate & discourage mold spores from settling. Mold is tough to get rid of, and be sure to wear a mask to reduce the amount of spores you inhale.

I don't soak it, but you better believe I use dish soap on them. Not cooking with a nasty pan!

@InfamousBloo go ahead and ruin your pans then. I've been cookin on nothin but the same cast iron pans for 22 years and they are phenomenal, clean and in the best condition. And also, germs? The pan is under heat.... which kills germs.. are you cooking with germs? Make it make sense. I clean with water, and if needed, I will scrub it with salt. Then, I towel dry, and re-season it with oils. My cast iron pans are the greatest pans and I give them nothing but the best. Me and my family, stand by this method, and will continue to defend its methodology for as long as we breathe air on this Earth. CAST IRON FOREVER!
