Just a small tip with siliconing the tub, to avoid cracking make sure you fill the tub before siliconing because it pulls away from the walls ever so slightly when you fill it with water

Girl we can hang! Love your attention to detail when cleaning. For me, every 👏🏾 nook 👏🏾 and 👏🏾 cranny needs to be cleaned and sanitized before I can even take a nap in a new place. Have you thought about maybe being a cleaning/organizing coach/consultant? You could do online consultations and ppl show what they are up against and you can help them on where to start, what to use to get stains removed, etc.... Sometimes people just need a friendly and encourage voice to help them start on their journey! Your videos already show a lot but sometimes people are really stuck and need that one on one support. Regardless, love the cleaning motivation and I will keep an eye out of those coconut fiber scrubbers!

As someone who does property management I approve this video! We try very hard to make sure our properties are as clean as possible before people move in, and then hope they take care of it while living in it. We don't always paint the walls... you're right, but only if it's not needed. If it's needed then we do paint, but yes laws vary from state to state on what's required.

Semi pro tip: Grout comes in different colors it looks like they used a grey color. If you want it white you’ll have to re-grout with a white colored one. LOVEEEEE the video new subscriber! ❤️🫶🏾

hydrogen peroxide and water. i just dried/buffed it with a dry rag.

You can find grout paint if it's discolored to the point it just looks plain nasty. So it would be renter friendly vs regrouting*

I've lived in apartments a good portion of my life and I guess too these things for granted. Honestlt, with how much rent has gone up, maintenence should be doing this. Also I suggest disinfectant wipes when staying at hotels/motels. I used to be a maid and they ate just doing a quick wipe down and making the bed with clean sheets. Blankets and coverlet are only changed on a rotation basis or if look dirty. Also pillows are not frequently cleaned either.

You got me side-eyeing this two story house, with sky scraper ceilings and maintenance that I KNOW has not been done, that I’m about to move into several weeks from now. Atlas, I’ve waited as long as a newborn in a womb. I can’t wait to clean and anoint this house. Wait 2-3 years and move into our forever home. Everything happened so fast but I was sure to put nothing on the upper level. So I think that would be the best place to start deep cleaning. Then, move the upper level furniture in place and start deep cleaning on the lower level. Of course I will be deep cleaning all of the common use areas first but to work around a lot of our furniture and personal items will be a bit tedious. Oh how I wish we had time and could have deep cleaned an empty home. But with a bit of delay we are finally moved in - I’m happy and everything will be done eventually. Thank you so much of this. @@abetweeneI’m back for inspiration 😂 Update: it took a span of 3 1/2 days total of 13 hrs to clean my master bathroom. The jacuzzi tub still can’t be trusted. I used the Yuk for 3 rounds and a round of Lysol with bleach. It’s still giving yellow film and some specks. So, I decided to let it be for now. I prefer showers over sitting in water anyways. The bathroom looks spotless. I keep cleaning the glass of my shower😅 but just today I noticed calcium on the back of my faucet so I’ll CLR it later. The owner stopped by a week ago and left me a tub grout filler and the spreader😂😂 so guess who’s gonna be recovering ALL the floors and caulking the bathrooms and kitchen 😂😂. At least I’ll know it’s done right and they are wide size marble floors so it will be easy. The blinds on the top floor alone took a week. They had to be brush scrubbed clean. I have double windows so I have to figure out how to get the inside clean then I’ll clean the outer windows as it gets warmer. I want to take advantage of the city views I’m getting😊. So today, I’ve decided to skip the 2nd floor full bath until I get my caulking tool bc ughhh i want that all done and pure white when I’m finished. I’ll start on the kitchen…yep. The master bath delayed me on the kitchen. I did clean behind the stove OMG!! I have a video on the before and after. I installed and cleaned my dishwasher. So, I’ll need to clean the stove, microwave - yes - we been using it before I cleaned it were fine. And my fridge that I brought doesn’t fit. I’m still going to clean it and see what’s broken bc it fell off the U-Haul 😂😂 it still working though but I’m getting a new one and selling that thing. Then yeah, thin out the dishes I brought to prep for the new ones and finish unpacking. The garage is last!! I need to purchase a shed. Then hopefully by March it’s warmer for Spring and I can revamp the yard as it was in 2008 when it was maintained. I got a ways to go - but watching your videos just makes me want to go harder. Swear my OCD came back hard while doing this process. Honestly, I hope it stays this way for as long as I’m living here and purchasing our new home. I want that HGTV feeling when you walk in… I want you to wonder if 5 kids live here 😂😂😂

YT random gave me your video and I LUV you! Where was this video 6 years ago when I moved!!!??? It is so much easier to do this sort of cleaning before moving your possessions into the space that I now have the plan (when I move) to give myself a storage unit for a month or keep things on the truck for at minimum 4 days, just so I can do these deep cleans on the old and new space. I have a darlin old dear of a landlady who I feel just cannot do all the things so this would be a kind of gift to her. And myself! So soothing seeing someone do all this so perfectly and with minimal tools/chemicals too!

I keep them in an unlided bin for ventilation and wash later whenever i have a large enough load. if youre wiping up anything that may cause odor just lying around like a food spill, just rinse it out prior 👍

I grew up cleaning like this, we washed walls, cabinets inside & out, clean vents, etc..several times a year. Now i hire people to do it and watch them like a hawk while they clean. Lol, I'm so annoying but i like my space clean clean. Oh make sure to seal the grout after cleaning. It helps to keep water and dirt from penetrating. Tip if you put water on the grout and it immediately absorbs & darkens it needs to be sealed.
