Great tips. Do not soak it! I need to replace the entire frother because I regularly soaked it and it now just falls apart if I use the frother.. replacing the part is very expensive (100$+)

I managed to fix the frother by putting a small rubber band inside the biggest (upper) part. The lower part now firmly grips on to the upper part again.

Amazing how this simple manual rinse and clean via disassembly worked so well. As is usual for Jura and most anything Swiss, this machine is very precise and requires regular but simple cleaning. I’ve been religiously using the Jura milk cleaning liquid and cleaning auto function on the machine, but this manual disassembly method is much more effective as it removes any residues from nooks and crannies much better than auto method. Unfortunately this problem was not solved with this manipulations... It has as a hot milk in mid. position and started blowing big bubbles and steam at the right position. No something in between. I have disassembled a non-return valve. It has 3 parts- a plastic holder, a rubber pipette (a valve itself) and a small metal disk (as a coin) in between of them. It seems like this disk extra covers air flow. Can you tell mew whether we need for this part or it must be removed? Also, is that OK if I grease a bit inner rubber parts with a food grade silicone, please? Thank you

Do not add anything to the rubber. And do not soak it. if this does not work, try run 500ml of water through. If not you may need to replace

That is correct. Do not soak the unit - or use soap on it. If you use Soap then rinse it off after.
