You will be able to fix the nail / toes growth further if you cut them a little shorter each time (they still seemed quite long). By doing so you force the „life“ in the nail to go back little by little. This will also allow them to fully stand on their feet and toes rather than on their nails. That would be quite important as a (feet) defective position will have negative effects on their spine and the whole skeleton. Just takes time to fix those issues 😊

Yes, so true. This even happens in human nails, we just don't notice as much. If they've been very long for a while, the living tissue in the nail does get longer. But like you said, you can just trim them shorter bit by bit everytime and they'll slowly go back to normal. Had to do that with our rescue dog!

Wow I had no idea THAT was part of owning a pig. I definitely learned something today 😳 Like I had a friend who had 2 pigs for like years and she thought they were two females and then one ended up pregnant so thats how they found out one was a male. She went all that time without cleaning him... I'm sure there's a lot of pig owners that don't do all that and now I see how necessary it is. Wow.

I really liked the iditing in this video. You put in so much work with the pop ups and music, I really wanted to let you know that you're doing a great job. I love the decor in your home. It makes me home sick, I'm originally from Cuba and when I go to my family home it's nice being surrounded by tapestry. I also had to cut my huskies meat into small chunks after she turned 9, but we went differently on how we did the meat. We used to microwave/roast the meat but our husky and Gsheperd stopped liking that or the dried food, so we tried raw and they started eating more. Eventually they didn't like any crunchies after 10, so they were eating just raw meat and jerky with eggy rice/veg with vitamins fod good poops. Miss those two so much, but now I have my rabbits and it's nice not having meat in the house. Although now I get naughty boys that leave their wooden toys on the hall and I step on them at night when I go to the loo >.

The boys can't help they "smell". It's part. Of being a boy. If bf doesn't like the smell he can put some Vicks vapor rub in his nose. It masks the smell pretty well.

My girls nails are very curved as well (some curve to the side) and have long quicks. I got them when they were 7 months old and they were very unsocialized. They must have been in a very small cage like David. They are now 2 (their birthday is today) and they have come a long way.

I love your channel. What pellets do you feed. I am looking for a good soy free pellet. My mother has dragon’s breath (the plant). She can grow anything, me, not so much. Sarah, I was an adult social worker for 27 years. Tell Josh to put a dab of vicks vapor rub under his nose and he won’t smell anything. I’ve been in some nasty places and it works.

Tips of the medical trade... get a gallon of Betadine/Povidone-Iodine solution (Amazon has some for around $25) and use that instead of the alcohol on your hands, it's antifungal, more broad-spectrum and more affordable. It also kills ringworm and bumble foot 😉🐾👍 Happy cleaning my friend! 💕

Question-if you give your pigs veggies, why do they need vitamin C?? They should get all the vitamin C they need from feeding veggies regularly. Just curious.

Guinea pigs can’t have too much vitamin c. And I like to syringe feed them it every so often bc for one it helps them get used to syringe feeds which helps when it ever comes time to have to give meds or feed critical care. Also when they are on meds or are sick I give it to them. Most of mine also love it so it’s a little treat from time to time.

Do you use the CBD cream that Saskia uses? The poor piggies that are dumped outside of her gate, so much cruelty, when Pedro was surrendered I didn’t think he was going to survive, she made him better then he died when he was neutered, all I do is cry! I had my reproductive organs removed I have two sons and that was enough. I went into the menopause very early, 39 but no one told me that I would cry every time I saw an animal on TV, now my boys just mock me now. I hope you have recovered and feel amazing! ❤️❤️❤️

Its really hard to take care of guinea pigs. If you watched the video she says she doesn't want to create waste from switchin out gloves so much. She also cleans her hands after. maybe listen nest tme. You dont know how hard it is to to take care of pigs. She is doing it the right way.
