I had a new 1980 single cab 300 cu in 6 cyl long bed dual tanks. Got 28 mpg. Paid $7,200 payments were $500. Could pull anything. Two tone silver. Make yours a Baja real short rear space with just two spare tires and a 4 x 4 engine your choice. If you decide to paint white with red interior. If not leave yellow with tan interior. Good luck

Beautiful truck. Pass on the Diesel and get a 460 "GODZILLA" engine. That's my dream engine to install in my 76 F250 Highboy.

So Solomon I would love to see the rusted banana boat with a DT466, compound turbos, Easton 6+1 manual trans, gear vendor overdrive and divorced transfer case in it... If it was my truck I would definitely stick with an 8-foot bed or a custom 9' dent side bed. Maybe use the frame, motor and trans from a International 4900 to save money and time. I would also like to see that truck remain sitting as close to factory height as possible, maybe a little taller than the original Factory Highboy height. Then stretch the fender well openings like the original Bigfoot. Run a set of 38 or 40 inch narrower tires with no lift. Add all those ingredients together and what you get is nothing less than pure awesome sexiness! 😎

I need to get mine done one day! 1979 f350 crew cab sitting on a 2007 f350 crew cab 4x4 Dually frame with a 1995 5.9 Cummins. Would like to get that Allison Cummins bell housing from ATS. Good luck on your build!

Hey Solomon, anyone into bumpsides and dentsides should check out Matt Kubik on KZbin. He's out west-maybe Montana or Wyoming and does beautiful restorations on crewcabs and hiboys. He is a wealth of knowledge and had his own diesel shop. I think you and your subs would really enjoy his channel. Absolutely should build back to 4x4. I personally love my 460's but if you go diesel, why not 7.3 turbo PS? Thanks for posting guys.

I’m a Bullnose fan but, the best f100’s is those mid seventies dents. I’d say go with a 460 with either a 4x4 or a 4x2 but, it would look great sitting on the ground too. Just saying
