Being an Okie who grew up between Shawnee and Meeker, I loved seeing your travel down those good 'ol dirt roads. I'm currently a city boy (EDMOND!) who's looking to move back "home". Thanks for your content.

Your experience really shows. Some great tips on angling the machine both on the front by swinging the boom and the rear by jacking up on one side or the other. Really enjoy watching these types of projects you do.

Another great video Frank! The rain has been a killer this year! Lol got to love guys like, it will last long enough. Sounds like it’s time for a Dynahoe 🤣
@Digginok5 жыл бұрын
thanks! Would have been a great job for the dynahoe, just leave the KW at home and drive it to work. Heck just leave it in the river bottom, might help with the erosion problem too!

Hey Frank! Hope you had a great 4th. Cool video showing your agricultural knowledge and operator excellence. Never knew those gates were set into the ground, you made me smarter watching this video! Work safe friend. Doug@ the "ranch"
@Digginok5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Doug, there are several ways to set them. This is the cheap and dirty method, some guys get fancy and set them on a concrete foundation, but around here most are just set in the dirt.

I have 8 cattle guards and they are sitting on concrete end foundations with drainage pipes been in 25 years, but where I'm at in Texas we don't have many floods. Your exhaust pipe was on there when you took it off the truck.
@Digginok5 жыл бұрын
Yeah a lot of the newer oilfield stuff uses concrete foundations. Most farmers don’t want to spend that kind of money. I caught it before it fell completely off.
@stevenmurata43925 жыл бұрын
I must have drank too much, I thought, I saw Frank using a hand shovel instead of "B", lol. That limb hit probably helped loosen that exhaust pipe. Didn't realize they were just set in the ground, thought they had a concrete foundation. Take care.

Great work, good video as always. Little Red could used some patriotic Red, White and Blue for the 4th, LOL, Just wandering which you prefer and you thoughts on the difference between dual stick v/s pilot controls? maybe I could catch that reply on a Saturday Night conversation. Keep those good ones coming. Reply

Thanks! I do need to get the flag in reds back window! Love the pilots, way easier for long days of continuous footings. I’ll try to get a live stream soon.

What kind of a cutting edge is that on your loader bucket?
@Digginok4 жыл бұрын
David seaquist it’s a smooth edge that I cut out notches with a torch. It works pretty well, I’m about due for a new one though. If I can I’ll make a video of how I did it.

@@Digginok would love to see that! I thought maybe you could order a serrated edge cutting blade. It it similar to a tooth bucket or tooth bar?
